Although it is early in the season, clearly the ice is hard enough for this guy to go for a stroll across the ice.

I would have to say this is one of our top 5 videos of all time. Why you ask? I am thinking these guys, the beaver and the otter, are from this summer's litter. Normally otters hunt baby beavers!! I do not think the otter saw or smelled the beaver. You will note at the end of the video the beaver came back for a 2nd look.

We believe this is one of the best videos we have ever gotten. You have to wait a few seconds, but you will be rewarded. Any questions why this hawk is called a "red tailed hawk"?

Although we caught otters before on this property, never at this location. This water is connected to where we saw them playing in the snow a couple of years ago. This is 1 of 5 videos we got this time. Great to see them

We are not strangers seeing Canada geese. However, this is the first time we have seen a male protecting his mate in such a vigorous manner.

Many of us have seen Canada geese with their cute babies in the late spring or early summer. Perhaps you have even gotten chased. Here is a great example of a male goose defending the "Mrs".

This video goes with the other two that shows the male chasing of the intruders. I am not sure if this is before or after the encounter. Canada geese mate for life and as you will see in the other two videos, the male is not giving up his mate!
