If you're wondering how my guitar sounds so wide and dynamic DI'd, and In-Ear - it's the Strymon Deco. I cannot recommend this pedal enough haha! It's so good. Enjoy!

I noticed your not using the midi thru jacks on none of the midi controlled pedals. Where is the signal feeding from ? Thanks
I will try and make a video to address your ACS1 preset issues! Regarding my MIDI routing. I have the Morningstar Midi-Hub mounted under my board :)
@@greg_olina just wanted to update you on my walrus acs1 issues i was having via controlling with midi. turns out i was sent a bad pedal. sweetwater sent a replacement and it works perfectly. thanks for your input within the comments.
I go Elixir all day baby. Really cool video though!
nice work, killer board. just outta curious , i see you use the midi capabilities of the acs1. can you explain how to save presets with a midi controller? i use a voodoo lab px8 plus, i can save presets but once i power off the board, the acs1 does not retain the created presets. thanks
Sure thing! I believe you need to do the following: Using your MIDI controller, send a message which sets your ACS1 to a new preset. For example - send PC - 4 to the ACS1. This will set your ACS1 to preset 5 and the lights will no longer be the classic Red, Blue, and Green. They should both be white. Dial in your amp, cabs, and tone with the switches and knobs, and save the preset. That Preset is not saved BUT ONLY AVAILABLE VIA MIDI. PC message 4. I can make a video if that would be helpful.
@@greg_olina oh man , thanks, i was using the first 3 and i noticed the 4th preset was both white lights. I think i know where i messed up lol im so use to strymon pedals. Lemme tinker later and ill get back to you. Thanks again
@@greg_olina is there a way to just copy an already saved preset to another preset location? Or do you have to pretty much start from scratch everytime?
@@mikeopeka9900 to the best of my knowledge - you're starting from scratch every time. You could all a midi message that brings each new preset to the exact same place if you want. It would take a little bit of programming up front - but then your "starting point" would be just two clicks away every time!
@@greg_olina gotcha. I hope they do an update that allows for a more efficient process to save and copy presets. Strymon definitely has them beat in that department.
I have this same compressor and I'm finding I have to set the blend at about 8 o'clock or else I lose the natural feel and clarity. Maybe I'm not a compressor type of guy?
Thanks for the awesome demo! Was pleasantly surprised by how chords sound on the stringjoys, but anything higher up the neck, fingerstyle, etc. made me realize why I've stuck to Elixirs for many years. Cheers
Hi, can I ask why you have 2 modulation pedals? And do you recommend the emperor or julianna or M1 if you had to choose 1 only!
Yeah for sure! The basic answer is that a modern "hi-fi" digital modulation pedal, and an analogue "traditional" chorus are VERY different things sonically. Even in terms of signal path. The Emperor is splitting the signal and sending clean and modulated in parallel. The M1 can sorta do that - but its typically doing much more dynamic (both L and R being modulated) things and in stereo. So even the M1's "standard chorus sound" sounds fundamentally NOT like a classic chorus. On top of that - of course - the M1 can do WAY MORE. As per your other question, if I had to pick one I would pick the M1. If I had to pick between the Juliana and the Emperor, I would take the Emperor because I don't need my analogue chorus to do more than just be a chorus. The Julianna has some extra little goodies that kinda make it "Analogue +" I don't need the plus. Thanks for your question!
Your voice sounds incredible here.
BRO! Gracias for the compliment!
I really like your approach to leading worship and MDing at the same time. Great content!
oh! much appreciated. truly.
This is great content!
I don't k ow why you'd want the two tones to sound nearly the same. I dial in stereo tones such thst both tones are complimentary and sound good together while sounding different.
I had to stop watching as soon as you said you did not tune for the video. Your call... peace.
Where can I find other IRS to download? I just got mine and I’m loving it I traditionally use guitar rig on my DAW or I have a spark 40 but this thing is really cool
Tonefactor is well known, ToneJunkie as well, I THINK JHS has IRs as well. And then random UA-camrs/guitarists out there have them as well.
On the acs1 there’s a high and low cut feature if you hold the on switch and turn the bass knob for low cut or treble for high cut. Gives you a little more flexibility!
Appreciate it!
Is that walrus d1 v1 or v2?
V2
Thanks, Greg! The songs you sing are so uplifting! Just love singing with you and the Choir 😊!
Really appreciate the detail in the video! God bless you
Happy to hear it!
Sounds great! Thanks for the video. Looking forward to part 2. On a side note: How do run your FOH settings with this? Is that channel set flat or do you add any eq there?
In this video all of my settings are completely flat. You're listening to the ASC1 straight. On Sunday/live/FOH at church, there is meaningful HPF depending on the other instrumentation. And there is always a minimal low-mid cut, and a very minimal high-mid boost.
One of my new favourites!
God bless!
Yes and amen! :)
Sounds SO good.
Gracias my sir!
Awesome rig and playing!
Would you mind sharing what your ACS1 settings are on this? The tone is 💰
Will do! Video coming soon!
Really good performance my friend🎸 Love your sound
Wow! Means a lot! Thanks.
You’re really versatile with guitars! I’m impressed! 😅
Awesome board man!
Thanks! It was a fun fun build.
Hi, Greg! I love this! This is quite an upgrade for us, which has been needed for awhile! It’s amazing how much you can fit in this space. Can’t wait to see it next time I am at church. My brother is a techie and I think he would be impressed as well.
I am DIGGING(!) your board! Many of the same pedals as me and I'm looking to integrate my PirateMIDI bridge6, just like you've done your morningstar. I have a similar size board with pedals that do the same kinda function as you. I'd say the thing that's different in soundscape is the microcosm and Friedman BE-0D for distortion and metal possibility. I'd be very interested in some help with my board. I'll list my pedals also with singnalchain: Xotic Wah->JHS FUZZ series 3->EHX pitchfork+->Strymon Compardre->Walrus Audio Warhorn/Ages combo->Xotic SL drive-> Friedman BE-OD->JHS Muffaletta->OBNE Reflector V3-> Walrus audio M1->Alexander pedals Rewind->Strymon Timeline->Strymon Big Sky-> Hologram Microcosm I'm thinking about replacing the two JHS fuzzes with the walrus audio eons and finding a smaller reverb than the big sky. Looking to integrate these pedals for the main big pedalboard with midi, and having a Nano+ og metro max size pedalboard for the small and easygoing rig Looking forward for you feedback
This sounds sweet! I will say I am super fuzz ignorant. I have never had one or had interest in one haha. I am low gain kinda guy for the most part. But I will was I love MIDI. It can be a bear to get the work flow started, but once you do it becomes quite painless IMO. Thanks for the comment and watch.
Wow! I’m impressed! That’s what you were working on one day when I was over at church. Very cool!
How do you like having 3 tuners on your board?
I NEVER USE the Sennhieser tuner. EVER. NEVER EVER. Haha, so in my mind I only have two haha, and I like it! Good question.
My long lost cousin, fellow molina !!! 😂🙌🏻

Gracias my dude! More coming shortly.
Beautiful.
Means a lot! Thanks.
✨✨👍🏻👍🏻
thank you! have a pedal board deep dive coming soon :)
Worship boards are easy to make. Use boutique pedals, put 2-3 delays and reverbs and you're done
Usually clean boost and soft clipping “transparent” overdrives too. Gets a bit boring in my opinion so I like to use fuzz and distortion sometimes.
This is one of the most simplest videos I witnessed! 💯💯 make more I just subbed!!
I will be soon!

You are awesome Bro!
Much appreciated! Truly.
Beautiful tone. We have the same compressor.
Yes yes, large fan!
Hello Greg, I'm Nhecaella from the Philippines. 😊Just continue what you are doing, singing worship songs. So Blessed here. 😇
Your encouragement is GREATLY appreciated! Thank you!
Nice channel here bro. Subbed for sure 👌
Truly appreciate it!
8th notes will almost never do you wrong 🤓
Very sweet tone brother! What amp are you simulating on your pedal? Great video!
Much appreciated! I am doing the Bethel Music thing. Fender ProSonic Left and AC30 right, dailed to sound as close as possible :).
This is great stuff
Thanks so much! I though it was a fun and helpful idea haha.
Wonderfully done!
Many thanks!
translation = worship pedalboard should not have any cheap boss pedals. only expensive boutique, so you can show off to other worship guitarists.
Nope :) Boss is great.
Boss isn't cheap
Keep singing brother. People NEED to hear about the Lord, the mercy and the love He has for every single person out there. NO ONE is forgotten or forsaken, no one is too far gone that the Lord can’t bring you home❤
Amen. And thanks for your comment.
🙏🏼😇🙏🏼
Algo brought me here. Good stuff man
Many thanks! There will be a lot more to come.
Great video - really enjoyed your sounds. Just a little comment, makari? The name is on the front! me ra ki.
Just a case of mental laps, I accidentally called it that once, and now it's stuck in my head! Appreciate the feed back.
