I can't listen to alex g anymore without remembering someone i wanted to get to know better. She was the only one i met at random who was familiar with alex's music. She had to travel with her work, and we worked together for a few days in a team environment. i didn't have the chance to spend time with her alone before she had to leave. I expected to see her again. It was one of those things when you think you know someone immediately upon introduction. the aptitude for that between people comes from a degree of similar suffering i think. Anyway, not too long ago i asked a friend about her. He said, 'she's gone.' I asked him where to. "She's 'gone' gone" If i had reached out to her before, i'm sure i could have prevented her from taking her own life. I swear to god there was a beacon of light in her eyes.
