It depends on which spool you are loading. The shallow would be perfect for braid. If you use the deep spool I highly recommend using a line to back it up first. I was surprised the amount it took to fill with 0.34.

For sure I loved mine I sold mine because apparently I can't use 4 sets of reels at once lol. Tbh I think I should have sold 1 of the other brands

If I can remember, due to the rules we were using inline leads mainly bud. Definitely an enjoyable place to fish. The variety of carp were great to catch

It's definitely a sturdy well built pole compared to other brands. But if floating is an issue I advise a net float. I've owned them for nearly 3 years and still going strong.

Yes there isn't a massive difference but I definitely prefer the x4 handle for the looks and the larger handle grip

All fish are welcome, some say she hit 49lb and some say she done 50. Either way the stockies will grow. Its a bigger lake than what me and many others are used to. Completely different ball game. Guessing you fish it alot. Any info is good info even on the history of the place.

It's full metal as well as the spoolmine is the 12000, but the 12000 also came with a shallow plastic spool. As they are on my shorter rods I use the shallow spool. The difference of the spools change the weight completely

I used them on my wadmil vid. Where I caught 20 carp, nearly all were doubles and they worked perfect.

@@dorsetcatches2399 Oh, so the shallow spool is made of plastic?? That's kind of bad for me, I was hoping I could use the large spool for Surfcasting and the Shallow for Speed Jigging. But for this to work well all of them should be made os metal, since the jigging requires q very strong pull game

Nice one, hopefully meet you on the bank at some point. If you're after the carp I definitely recommend watching the water for shows. The carp definitely follow the current of the wind so well worth a walk before you set up.

@@dorsetcatches2399 definitely up for that I believe tackle shop in Winton hold a pike match on Rockford every year looks a good water but I wasn’t paying for night permit on it £150 for one lake so I can only do days on there . Honestly I don’t know much of Bournemouth or half the waters they have my personal best croc is 32.10 from a lake in Nottinghamshire

It's great to have different perspectives on things. I thought the k9s were big especially with the rechargeable battery packs. I like the idea of small alarms as it's easier to find space for long trips in the tackle bag. But the magnet helps as I leave the pod set up and just remove the alarms. But the main reason for my purchase is the rechargeable battery without a massive box on the back.
