I know I'm pretty late, but i wanna share my plan and ideas on my moving out (?), but before that I just want to say that NO, the reason for me wanting to move out as fast as possible is not because I have a toxic household - NO. I just want to become financially responsible and I want to be on my own! So basically I'm 16 now and I'm Polish and in August 2026 I'm turning 18 and my idea is to move out as soon as I turn 18 to Dublin, Ireland and i really want to live there. Since there's a pretty low possibility of me getting into my dream uni in Dublin (Trinity College Dublin), I'm thinking about applying to a uni in Polish and I'm thinking about having a online and part-time studies so i can also work. Since im 16 i can legally start working in some places for vacation like McDonald's or something so that's my plan. Then I want to save as much money as possible, convert them to euro and then move out and get a job while still studying. If anyone sees this comment and already moved out of their home city/home country, i will gladly take some tips and opinions! Thanks and have a great day/evening/night.

Moved from France to Slovenia at 18 to take a gap year. Half a year later I am so glad I did it but it can get quite lonely if you don't move your ass and become an extrovert. Also slavic languages are a torture to learn but I enjoy pain.

i'm 17, turning 18 in 5 months and planning to run away from my country. I have been under the child protection service since i got moved from Poland to Norway because of biologic parenting issues. While living with strict parents and being controlled by a strict cps (child protection service) i have figured out that i can't handle this lifestyle any longer. I'm gonna stop all contact with my fosterfamily and the norwegian child supporting service and completely vanish. When i figured out that running away from this country to Poland is what i really wanted to do, i felt a sense of accomplishment and a feeling of "finding my meaning of life". I will be running away to Gdansk and hopefully quickly find a job and a place to stay. I searched this video up for comfort and to see others expriences with running away/moving out to another country - while i'm planning my big runaway. I'm very determined of what i want, and i will update this Commentsection if there will be changes with the plan or anything else that i come up with. Anyway, have a great day. Peace
