Oh update status I got that job and I'm still working there. Thanks for this. I went from c.s.r to being a manager and I got a raise. I haven't missed one day of work.

Did you get the job? Also do you need some of education in f&b for this type of job or no experience needed?
@@snarbiess1455 so the hiring manager ended up not showing up to the interview, and the CSR there told me he'd call the next day but still nothing! So I ended up getting a job at McDonald's, which was easier for sure. Domino's seems to hire a lotta people too, although the csr asked if I had any experience in food or pizza, but said there's a offaite training to help you know how to do everything and are ready to work

I got let go from my previous job @ Jimmy Johns and im debating working at dominoes, everyone there from all the commercials look so nice.

My cousin worked in Dominos and he never once saw someone toss a pizza. The bases came in and the toppings were applied, anyone who messed that up would be in trouble because the idea was to provide a consistent product which would be undermined by someone tossing a base.

@@jackdunn3980 The UK mate but maybe they weren't doing things how they were supposed to be done. Even so the point about tossing is correct as slapping is different to tossing.
@@laughingachilles yeah, you're right. Still, I've known a few people who do it but they're really good at making pizzas like this guy.

Would it be so hard to wear gloves while making food
You would get cross contamination from the same gloves so hand washing is better than plastic gloves. Or you would also have a mountain of plastic gloves after 500 pizzas. Thats thousands of gloves a week. Drivers wear gloves. There is a camera that tracks hand washing above the make line so anyone making food without the 20 second wash and hand gel after hand towel drying would get a very serious warning. The standards in weekly store checks are so particular. Its impossible to have bad standards without being fired.

Worked at Dominos for (coming up to) 11 months now, first job I’ve ever had. Turning 18 in 6 days and have been offered to start training as a shift runner in January (one step down from assistant manager) Absolutely love my job and the people I work with, gets very stressful sometimes but hey that’s life. I’d recommend giving it a go, free pizza on occasion too so what’s there to not like

@@boko1063 Saucing, cheesing and topping is very easy when you get the hang of it. It’ll take a couple weeks to learn hopefully. Slapping is tough but again once you’ve got it you’re good to go. It’s a pretty easy job if you put your mind to it
