The full title of Trix's talk was "Do You Want To Join Our Gang?": showing group identity through dress accessories in the Great Army.
This talk was given in York at the first Viking Age Living History for All: Assembly (VALHALL:A) on Thursday 15th February 2024. VALHALL:A is an independently organised living history conference, organised by re-enactors of the Viking Age for fellow re-enactors. Our goal is to provide a welcoming space for people of all backgrounds and levels of experience, to learn about evidence-based living history of the Viking Age. Talks are given by kind volunteers, who offer their expertise in order to educate and inspire the wider community of re-enactors.
