Live @ the Jim Marshall Auditorium, Stables Theatre Milton Keynes UK 13 May 2024. After 35 years of friendship and collaborations with Deborah and the band (Pete & JD's friendship dates back 40 years), this was to be JD's last guest performance with the band. JD was the founding member of Bo Street Runners, an early 60s group that also featured a young Mick Fleetwood on drums. JD and Mick's friendship continued to the end, with JD joining Mick on many a Fleetwood Mac tour throughout their career and playing harmonica with the Mick Fleetwood Blues Band. JD plays the harmonica on the original version of 'Devil in New Orleans' from Deborah's 'The Old Hyde' album released in 2000. At JD's request, Mick Fleetwood also performed on 'The Old Hyde' album, adding drums to 'Open Up Your Heart'. CD available from the shop at www.deborahbonham.com.

This beautiful venue has seen many a tribute from us, to Jim Marshall, local boy Bernie Marsden, Pete's uncle and mentor Paul Rowan, Deborah's brother John, and our drummer Rich Newman's mother Margot, who passed away on the day of a previous show. Margot Quantrell was one of the Breakaways, the backing singers on Jimi Hendrix's 'Hey Joe', so of course we performed an emotionally charged version of the James Marshall Hendrix classic that night. Lots of tears then and now as I write and recall. Let's keep their spirit alive and never rest xxx
