As the Creator of our bodies and the Creator of the Herbs for our bodies, who knows better than Abba what herbs we should use? Allowing Him to be my Teacher and then teaching others what He has taught me is my life's goal. There is no charge for any of the classes or apprenticeships. May the Lord bless you and keep you, make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you, turn His face towards you and give you shalom, in the Name of Jesus, Yeshua Hamashiach, Amen.

Natural/Herbal Healing of a Wounded Baby Chicken
We discovered this injured baby chick in the brooder with a large wound. She was being picked on by the other chicks and had to be removed from the brooder a few days. We used a strong Calendula water infusion to spray on the wound and put Bidens frondosa tincture and molasses in her water to prevent infection. Within four days, baby chick was healed and able to rejoin the others!

Where can I buy Bidens tincture?
@@elliehollingsworth3114 you can usually find it on Etsy. Just read the description and make sure it’s made with fresh herb in a 1:2 ratio. Or it might say according to Stephen Buhner protocol.
@@BarefootMountainSchoolofHerbs thank you.
PlantAin. Sounds like like 'plAne'.
@@MsRain49 I think the pronunciation depends on who you ask🤷🏻♀️
@@BarefootMountainSchoolofHerbs You're probably right. ♥️
Great info!!! I’m grateful for you sharing this, because up until now I considered it the scourge of our woodlands and wanted to see it eradicated! I still don’t want it becoming invasive on my property, but I will surely take advantage of its presence next spring!
Can i makke shea butter and soaps with yarrow flowers infused with olive oil?
@@florachildress3531 I don’t know why you couldn’t but I’m not sure what the chemical process of lye mixing with the oil would do to the constituents in yarrow during the soap making process but maybe you could superfat with yarrow infused oil so it’s not as affected by the process?
@@BarefootMountainSchoolofHerbs thank yo!
Beautiful. I love it!
Great information ‼️ Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for the information
Could you please share the exact tincture recipe? Thank you.
@@cryptoworld1899 you just chop up the bidens leaves as small as possible and stuff them in a jar. Not packed but definitely not loose then you pour pure grain alcohol over them until they’re just barely submersed. Put the lid on and shake them and let them sit in a cool darker place for six weeks shaking them every day that you remember to. Then you press them out real tight. You want all the liquid out that you can get. Run the liquid through a coffee filter and that’s it. If you want to make a professional tincture then it’s a 1:2 ratio at 100%.
@@BarefootMountainSchoolofHerbs What do you mean by 1:2 ratio at 100%? How long can I keep the tincture? How should I use it? Thank you so much. I happen to have the herbs in my backyard and really want to make the tincture professionally.
@@cryptoworld1899 there is a video on making tinctures on my channel that will explain the whole process for making a professional tincture. This tincture will usually keep for at least 7 years. I normally use the tincture at a dropperful 3 times a day but if I have an active infection starting I will take it every two hours the first day or two until it’s under control.
Wow great info ! Thank you! 💖
Thank you. I just walked under this tree for years and the berries on the ground caught my eye. So excited about this.
Why is the water added?
Because some constituents in herbs are better pulled out with water. Some with alcohol. If you look at the studies they use a water ethanol combo so that’s what I use and have found it to be very effective. However if you choose to use straight ethanol and it works better please let me know lol. Always open to new knowledge.
Wow ty j want to mill Jerry would know you’re over your older thank you so much
Thank you.
Best video ❤
I have seen lots of queen anne's lace, but I just found poison hemlock the past two days. Definitely a lot taller!
Love the "prayerfully". I make up words also....if that isn't really a word. Lol
Can I dehydrate it
I have never used it dry so I can’t say for sure.
We have about 5 in our yard (up to like 30 feet tall) but they’ve been losing leaves every spring and dying. All the leaves have spots (not holes) and/or are yellowed. I mean there are so many leaves that have fallen so far and one of the trees looks so pale.
I wonder if it’s needs some kind of nutrition? I’m not good with growing things. The Lord has to grow my herbs and I just forage. I hope you’re able to figure out what is wrong with the tree.
Intro music is very loud
Thank you for the information you shared. I will try it.
How do we use it ❤❤
Wonderful video and very clear! Thank you. I’ve watched MANY videos on the topic and this is the only one that explains enough detail to help me understand the discrepancies between all of the others. Thank you and God bless you! 🙏
I’ve heard from some that they should be harvested when they’re low to ground and still cones
I have never read that but it’s possible that the reproductive stalks have medicinal properties. Let me know if you find any studies on it😊
@@BarefootMountainSchoolofHerbs I’ll definitely look into it more!
Good channel. Hope you can continue sharing. Theres so much misinformation out there, its refreshing to see a well done video with herbs and it have Gods blessing .
The video is great , no problem from Ohio.
wonderful informational video! Thank you!!
I saw this just in time. My honeysuckle has just barely started to flower. I’ll be making a tincture very soon. Thanks!
Praise the Lord Jesus, can I buy some of your Spanish needle
I’m so sorry. I don’t have enough to sell. Our family is trying to make it til June so we can harvest more. But most everybody has a variety of bidens growing near them so I encourage you to harvest some of your own 😊
Hi Kathy! This was an exceptional video! Thank you so much and God bless you!
Hi! I have cranesbill all over the yard but it's identification app says it's Carolina cranesbill Geranium carolinianum...Would you use it the same way?
Same here and I’m curious as well !
Thank you, I think links to the studies would be a plus. I didn’t see them.
Excellent video
Amen, praise The CREATOR - God. To Him all the glory! Can you imagine the bountiful goodness the earth held before the fall? This, these plants and herbs, too, are constrained and not at their fullest potential (like us). Amazing Creator!!!!!!!
Thank you. I appreciate your videos.
This is crazy. I have a huge Japanese bayberry in my yard. THANK YOU.
How long will this keep in the refrigerator?
Thank you so much!!!
Thank you for this. I live in Sweden so flora is different. We do have some Bidens, may I ask if you know of them and any possible medicinal effect? Biden tripartita, Biden radiata and Biden cernua are the ones that grow here. I'd be grateful for a response!
🎉 well done!😊
Wild cherry and black cherry are two different species
Thank you for this! 🌷For jars, I use the glass bottles that the alcohol comes in, to tincture, as well as to store the finished tinctures. They never leak; they can stand upright, or lie on their side; they pour nicely; much easier to tuck in a bag when sharing some with others; I don't worry about getting the container back; and I never have to seek out replacement jars. May as well use them, since I already paid for them, right? All in all, much easier to work with than other jars. Never use plastic containers! Glass only.
Why would you chose to use grain alcohol when most herbalists say 100% which is 50-50?
Just for clarification, 100 proof is 50% alcohol and 50% water. Salah🙏
Very informative video. I have it growing in a new flower bed. The soil I bought for it must have had seeds. Cause its the only place its growing. Fantastic bonus. Now that I know what it is. 😊
I think a tea or two a day after 50 could save us from all that horrible illnesses
New sub wow dont even know where to start when it coms to research thank you sooooo much 😮😊
It's pronounced plan-taaainn. (Long a) thank you! I'm gonna make it!
I identified my wild cherry tree by all the birds attracted to the white flowers ! I couldn't believe I have a cherry tree! No white flowers this year tho. I thought it was a trash tree in my yard! Damn, I hope I don't have a chokecherry! Thank you! Loved the video but I read the transcript bec phone acting up!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
can you dehydrate them first?
Curious why I'm seeing others say that everything but the flowers are toxic? but you're saying that the leaves are okay?
Hi Evelynn. Both the leaves and the flowers have been used for centuries in Traditional Chinese Medicine and a lot of the scientific studies involve the leaves as well as the flowers. However, you and all others should do your own research and make your own decisions regarding your use of herbal medicine. God bless.
