(Written in 2020) Hello to you, if you're here, your looking to find out more. Well I'm a novice drone flyer. I fly a DJI Air 2S and a Mavic Mini. I have this channel to have an output for my efforts. Of course I hope that others may like what I create but I'm not that focused on giving what people want, unless it's this.
I'm learning to fly in primarily the countryside environment, I now look to show you the viewer my version of my experiences via the drone and maybe my camera, but firstly the drone.
If you want to ask questions please comment within the videos as I would prefer not to offer my email.
I would love to think you might subscribe too, not for anything else but knowing I'm progressing.
Thanks for stopping by, take care, Dante.

Saltwood Castle is one of those castles that if you imagined a castle, this would be it. Hidden a mile or two from Hythe in Kent this castle is now privately own. Open maybe once or twice a year it's a shame we can never get too close. But still we still have the arial view....enjoy Dante Music: Infinite Perspective by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence. ...

Camber Castle, also known formerly as Winchelsea Castle, is a 16th-century Device Fort, built near Rye by King Henry VIII to protect the Sussex coast of England against French attack. The first fortification on the site was a small, round artillery tower, constructed by Henry between 1512 and 1514, overlooking the Camber anchorage and the entrance to Rye Harbour. In 1539, increasing tensions wi...

The Church is named for St. Thomas the Martyr, Archbishop of Canterbury, who was murdered in his own Cathedral in 1170. The first recorded mention of the church of St. Thomas in Old Winchelsea came in 1215. After floods later in the century the original town of Winchelsea was rebuilt inland. A new church was built near the centre. Work started in 1288 to build a magnificent Gothic church, with ...

Thank you very much, I try hard to offer something to enjoy, sometimes flights arn't this good. Thanks for your sub too. :)
Such a beautiful ruin! Great narration in the edit to complement the shots 👍another perfect location, well done 👏
Thank you sir, I enjoyed the flight and not being close made the approach that much different.
Very nice video and beautiful place! Great drone footage 👏 Thank you for sharing! Done myself few drone videos for my travel channel if you want to have a look at it......thank you! New SUBSCRIBER
Just subscribed to your channel, I have enjoyed what I watched so far. Keep doing what you do.
@danteinchaosforever I will!! Thank you for subs and kind words!

Beautiful shots! Such a magnificent castle, well done 👏👍
Thank you, had real trouble with the narration but it wasn't too bad. Enjoyed the video though.
Nice!
Thanks for your comment, I'm adopting this style on my videos from now, I'm pleased your liked it.
Learning something new is great. Many thanks & well done.
Thank you for your comment, I have tried a new direction with this video, the narration. I think it makes a difference. Take care x
Thank you with any new departures you're never sure whether the balance is right?
@@danteinchaosforever A new direction is always a positive step, especially when it adds so much value to the video.
🫶👏 superb! Well done 👍
Excellent quality what drone did you use…and when did you do it was it in lockdown as nice sunny day and can’t see a soul about anywhere great vid thou
Thank you for your comment, I shot the video just a few weeks ago. I try and avoid to much distractions like people, if possible. I fly DJI drones depending on the location.
Loving this, great job. I really like the historical references. Makes the video alot better.
Thank you, perhaps this is a way forward, for the better.
All good things come to those that wait, and you have certainly waited for this one!👏👍 Great job!
Thank you, in the main I'm happy with it. It was an exercise with the new software and a different style of story telling.
@@danteinchaosforever now it's just perfecting the format and getting the flying done.👍
Well done.
Fantastic footage of this beautiful place 😍 lovely flight and great video 🫡👍
Thank you for your comment, it's comments like this that make the effort worthwhile.
We love Rhodes. Thanks for showing us some bits we’ve not seen before 🍻
You're so very welcome, thank you for taking the time to comment.😊
Nice to see the Camber Castle. NIcely captured
Thank you for your comment, I just love our local history, this just offers a prospective the not everyone gets to see.
Great video and some interesting history. I have a few hours under my belt now with my drone and have taken some great photos, but its given me a new appreciation for how difficult it can be to make quality smooth videos like this one!
Thank you for your comment. For every flyer there's a learning curve. It's so good to hear that you're out there trying. as ever if you need support please let me know. Maybe just go out and try together?
Nice mix of flying, especially in such a tricky location 👏. These castles are beautiful from above!
Thank you, it's good to see what you can do with master shots and basic flights. Yes, these castles are so different from above, prospective is everything.🥰
Excellent
Thank you, have you seen my other videos?
So cleverly done 😊
Thank you very much. I try to grow and develop and make things better with every video, but it's not always possible. But this one seemed to work.
Loved this, very dynamic given the sunrise. Great flying.🎉
How do you access this place I tried to get to it but I came at it from the wrong side
Hi, Head for the Richborough Roman Fort, there's a public footpath to the right of the Fort. The Fort will be on your left, head to the railway line, cross it and follow the path to the river. Hope that helps.
Great video 👍some lovely views of the castle 😊
Thanks Peter, it was a great morning with the sunrise etc.
Great video. Looking at it from top down really gives you a sense of how imposing it must have been when it was first built!
Thank you, the site extends further than the walls themselves, but without structure, that's all you see.
What a fantastic location for a castle! The views across the town and coastline are stunning! Great flight 👍 with beautiful shots of the sandstone cliff and the ruined battlements of this historic landmark....the money shot was worth it! 👏👏
Thank you very much, Catching the sunrise really added to the whole morning. As ever the drone did the hard stuff.
Has a wonderful shape! I bet inside is incredible too. Great flight, I promise I never got distracted by the big glass building behind!😊
It's good to get back out, thank you. I know you and that building....it could be a crane or a squirrel.
Love a folly!
Need to add this to my list to visit
A favourite sunset photo opportunity
I was hoping the same, but for the sunrise. 🤔😃
Makes me want to go there! 😊
Thanks Martyn, its a cheapy, but a goody.
Very nice extra reels, and a taste of the unique and off the beaten tack gems! All have an incredible story to tell.👏
Thank you very much, its funny how you can make something out of very little. I still only scratch the surface and would love to go back.
Beautiful 👏👏
Indeed, I think you understand my cryptic comments now? Thank you.
@@danteinchaosforever There certainly was a lot to understand, but proof as they say is in the pudding!
What a fantastic place! So much history, interest, and a great blend of old and new. Hopefully the warm sun kept the chills at bay... perfect weather for a beautiful flight.👏
I only scratched the surface. Thank you.
Thank you for taking me on your journey through your photos. It is really delightful and relaxing. It gave me great pleasure
You're so very welcome. I'm pleased that you found some pleasure in my video. Thank you for your subscription. I hope to bring Lindos next week to youtube, I hope you find something in that too.
Thank you, the scenery is certainly the star. The beer goes down well too.
what a beautiful cove, stunningly clear water! simply lovely.👍

Thank you, but the Air 2S is the star here.

Very beautiful. Also good choice of music.
Thank you very much, I'm glad you appreciated it. Regards Dante
Great rotation shots! Beautiful end shot!!👍
Thank you, I regret a lot about that flight, should have planned it better. But still it shows a different prospective for the ground viewer.
@@danteinchaosforever There is always next time, I certainly don't think this beautiful cathedral is going anywhere.

Thank you very much Sir, I had a fun morning. The drone does the work and I just enjoy the rest. 🥵🌞☀
Lovely light, great shots and another beautiful perspective. The rotations work really well with the shape of this castle 👍👏
Many thanks, I just fly the target and make the most of it. I guess I'm just lucky.
Such a beautiful castle! I think the device forts are architecturally pleasing in there design as well as function. Great shots, great flying, fantastic perspective 👏 👍
Thank you, I just wish the sun was out to add more atmosphere. Still really enjoying my flying.
@@danteinchaosforever Enjoying is the main thing!👍
It's really nice to see the arm in use, especially the context it gives to the video. It also makes the ' where's wally ' game more interesting 🤣 well done!👍
Kind of a spur of the moment flight, but had fun anyway. Thanks for you comment. As for where's wally, perhaps I wasn't even there....
Beautiful footage and lovely continuity of shots, coupled with peaceful music (no railway pun intended)👍
Thank you, I reshot a lot as I now have a little more confidence in the Air2S. I'm happy with it.

@@danteinchaosforever sounds like a plan 👍
Great video as always! I especially liked the section where you were flying down the station but also had the view from higher up on the screen at the same time. Very atmospheric views of the lighthouse as the sunrise as well. (I think it was sunrise rather than sunset!)
Hi Priory Rail, Thank you for your comment, yes it was a sunrise. With the twin views I am trying to offer more in a shorter time. This is a bit long but to split it up it wouldn't flow as I would have liked. Thanks again, dante.
Great stuff! Loving this 👍
I wanted different music, I never got any lol. Thanks for the comment though.
Love this place. Home from home❤️thank you for this🍺
Hei Dude, you're more than welcome. Hopefully I'll be adding to this soon...maybe a few more memories for you? Regards Dante
Some very interesting perspectives in this mini adventure! And Certainly a unique way of displaying the footage too, well done!👍 begs the question tho, what was in the blackness under the arches? A holding tank for the swing bridge maybe?
Thank you for the comment, I have enjoyed making this one but then I had a lot of footage that helps. Under the arches at the far end was filled with scaffold poles. I also think that area was an addition to the structure.
