Please stay the person you are. You started making videos and now I have a channel to come to when I don't want to listen to plastic noises for 45 minutes. I watch diamond art videos while I'm doing homework and honestly I'm not an ASMR person. I'm autistic and I find packaging noises deeply disturbing. So I'm glad you don't flip though every single packet of drills and im glad there's finally an unboxing channel (that I know of) that doesn't do that.

This is the first video of yours I have come across and I subscribed already. Usually it takes me a bit to warm up to a new channel, but I enjoyed yours from the start. Welcome to diamond painting. I've been doing this for a few years, but only really found the UA-cam community and companies that license artwork this year. So, in that sense, I've only been active since the spring. I have thought about starting a channel as well, but haven't taken the leap. I wish you luck with yours. 😊

Welcome to the addiction! I haven't ever had any trouble with my Dreamer canvases. I like them as much as I enjoy my Diamond Art Club. In my opinion, Diamond Dotz has the most AMAZING sparkling drills I have ever seen. The special drills from DAC are the regular drills for DD. They're THAT shiny! As far as "gaping," I'm doing a DAC right now -- Moon Goddess -- square, major gapping. I don't care. This craft is the only one that calms my mind and soothes my spirit. I truly do not do it for the end result. It really is the process and the journey of the diamond painting for me. Really good video! Very authentic. Don't change your style! Very refreshing!

Welcome to the addiction! I’ve been painting for a few years and still loving it so much! I have some of the same kits… I think I counted 5 or 6 that are similar. Enjoying this video since it’s not the same recreated content everyone else spits out!

The pineapple story made me a bit teary. In terms of Dreamer Designs, they are known for the gapping, but starting with the Christmas kits that have just started coming out, they are doing a tighter grid. So you may want to wait a little until the old stock is out and the new ones are in to see a difference.

I ❤ your stories! Are you doing Jingle Drills? I am planning to do that Abraham Hunter Winter Solace kit for it. It will be my largest DP every. I started Diamond Painting over Christmas week 2023.

Ok just finished the video. I loved it. (1) You get 15 baggies so definitely not enough to kit up in. I use them sometimes to de-kit but other times I am lazy and toss the extra drills. (2) we have similar tastes in diamond paintings (and while I prefer squares I like to do rounds too so it doesn’t impact my purchase choices). I actually have Warm Witch, Bouquet and In Santorini. I am going to Santorini next summer on a cruise - bucket list destination - so I am saving it to work on when I get back. What a sweet, thoughtful gift for your in laws. Please share your completions!!

Yes, all mystery kits are squares. Because the canvas is black and white, if it were round drills, you'd see the black and white between the drills. Ignore the colors on the canvas when you do it - the colors are to hide the image. Only pay attention to the symbol.
