The more likes the video gets, the more UA-cam will show it to more people. You are correct, I only have 1.5k subs at the moment and I am looking to grow, so I need UA-cam to push my videos more. Also, there are people who would love to have the next episode as soon as possible. Thank you for your advice, but I am not really asking for much.

By saying you "can't" upload the next video because your previous video didn't get enough likes yet, you're just punishing those who actually enjoy your content. Just my two cents. You can remind people to like your video, but that blackmailing is pretty crappy.

You guys totally misunderstood me. I said that if this video gets 500 likes I will upload the next episode right away, meaning that if it gets 500 likes now - I will upload the next one now. Also you might be surprised but this video is already getting 3 times more likes than what I usually get. Thank you for taking the time to watch my videos, I really appreciate every single view and comment.

@@aedo_plays No, I totally understand, but the conclusion of that is also "If you don't like, you'll have to wait longer for the next video." So yeah, I just don't think it's a good way of phrasing it. And it's also not sustainable, because at one point you'll run out of videos in your backlog and what are you going to do then to encourage people to like? So, I'd say it would be better to just remind people to like the video at the beginning or ending to help out the channel, not to get the next video quicker. That's all I'm saying.
