Well, I would be interested in playing this game if there was an easier to get it and if I was into Dark Souls. I am not. And I do no trust myself to get it running without breaking my computer somehow. At least I got a nice Llama pen. I am glad you liked this game, but I am very much anti dark souls stuff and can not play stuff that is too hard. I am interested in Tsukihime though. Got the OG VN ready to go on my new laptop. The main character has a cool ability. There are also lore important H scenes, but I have immunity to the status condition known as horniness so that should be ok. I hope you're doing well. I recently left a Trails related discord, because I realized that my relationship with those people was very toxic. I keep going back there but then someone just starts dunking on me again for no reason and I leave again. Very toxic relationship. I need to watch your RF ToD streams. But I have no time. this has been a fun series to watch!!

Just got to this part on my blind playthrough and had to quit for the day. That was just painful to go through in a blind experience. The pacing already felt pretty off throughout my playthrough simply because Junction System takes a long time to setup properly each Party Switch. The best way to put is that it's a very Japanese way of writing things. Once you have the whole picture sure it starts to make sense but it's essentially homework for a blind experience. Things should be apparent if I failed or why. Like I did Bass, Electric, Piano, and Violin but I had the mixed instrument argument version. I felt so disconnected and confused by what it wanted me to do or how to feel. Everything else felt pretty fine but this felt like the script was hijacked. We go from a missile attack, killing the Garden Master, crashing, and reuniting but the focus is Squall and Rinoa? I realized something was off once Quitsis kept getting pushed further and further into the background. That could've been my own problem since I could split the party in many ways and change certain scenes but for the most part they've been pretty good at having the whole party in every scene. The romance is fine for the most part but the issue I have with it is that Rinoa has no real reason to care for Squall specifically. I legitimately thought Quitsis was going to be a romantic rival because of how well she knew Squall and how they interacted. Then suddenly she's just nothing as the plot progresses. I want to like Zell but I know literally nothing about him other than he punches real good. Selphie is a fun personality but she's very much just "The kid" of the group. Irvene was a nice change of pace for a character but he has no significance to the plot so far. So the big band moment for Squall and Rinoas date just felt off and forced. It also highlighted how oddly normalized people are to this worlds troubles. Half the town was burned and they find the time to make a concert? Pacing issues everywhere. I'm sure there's a story somewhere but at this moment in my blind playthrough I am currently at this exact spot and I'm now questioning the overall quality I've been experiencing. Cloud and Tifa had a lot going for them because the narrative actually started off highlighting their romance. In Squalls case they just keep highlighting how he has no control over anything. So I really don't know if a romance is even appropriate with those kinds of themes. I'll finish the game but I really don't like the story too much. The twists are interesting but there's no mystery that's unfolding. Why is Rinoa shooting her dog out? Why is her dog so damn magical? Tifas Dolphin is easily explained by Martial Arts alone. With the phrase "Be like Water" a famous mantra. So a Water related animation just makes sense. How can I take Rinoa seriously when her Dog just Suplexed a T-Rex and yet this dog is also somehow never in an important cutscene. Game feels rushed the more I think about it. Selphies Limit Break would imply she has inherent Magic Abilities and yet she's not discussed when talking about new Sorceresses but Rinoa is vaguely implied to be a candidate because she had a necklace which she didn't know how to use? Moments like this need to hit in a first time experience or you risk alienating your own player. Now I just feel completely disconnected from the characters and what's going on despite the fact it was trying its hardest to do the opposite.

Rf 2, 3 and 4 are the best series so far and 5 is a bit disappointing. Well it's just me for sure and I was thankful they decide to port rf3, 4 and 5 to pc which is a game changer.

I remember havin a hard time with RF4 with the crafting mechanics. I somehow got my broadsword to do over 1000 dmg, just dont know how until i watch some toturials. And you can abuse the game mechanics too. you can go to one of the higher level dungeon and throw failed food at the enemies, or you can poisen them, you will lvl up very fast. I was playing on easy mode. xD

Sadly it really just isn't worth since the Gammoth sucks Major Congalala-butt until well after the game, just to be outperformed there as well I really tried.-.

Hey man; how do you unlock the Smithing skill from a blacksmith; they say they want "top-quality equipment" but whenever i show them <<exceptional>> gear, they dont give it to me. I have the equipment in my inventory as you would with any other quest item. Exceptional was the highest quality i could find up until now.
