Hey man - firstly, this is an incredible take so true to the studio track, the feel, dynamics, placement are all amazing. Can I ask how you went about learning this? Its been a dream of mine for years to learn this song and a whole other list of Johnson’s Grace tracks. There is such much going over the barline and details in the composition of this track (something I feel Johnson is incredibly intelligent at). Did you transcribe the song by ear and write it out? If so, would it be possible to buy the transcription off you (copyrighted ofc!) if you did this and still have it? I love learning songs / beats by ear but sometimes its hard to find / justify the time to do this for songs with so many details / compositional complexity when I have band parts to write / technique to attend to etc which can kind of mean missing out on how to develop all those tasty details and complexity. Anyway let me know if this is possible. Would love to hear more about how you practised this regardless. Nice one. Ben
