Never cut off the Bungee cords. You merely shorten the bungee straps by knotting the straps to increase the tension on those clips. It is easily done. You must be creative if you are going to travel. This a fantastic bag.

Thanks for this video, I had the Momentum Vagabond Bag for about 2 1/2 years and used it on a couple of bikes then sold it after selling my last bike and was very happy with it and was going to get another when I got My Can Am Spyder four months later. I have since found the Harley-davidson Onyx Premium Luggage Touring Bag used and will be picking it up in a few days, I hate losing the water bottle pockets but think this bag will be so much better.

With the bag sitting where the front pouch is towards the tour pack. Use the straps that you put on the luggage rack, but put them around the mount below the trunk. And the other straps to the saddle bag guards. Then it will sit level. I have the same setup on my electra glide. I also have the onyx bag that fits the luggage rack on top of the trunk.

Remember if this was bluetooth compatible?

Has anyone told you how weird and immature your videos are? We in America ride Harley Davidson motorcycles we don't talk about shit like this. Maybe you'd be more comfortable on a Yamaha. Honda is also an option. Give us all a break. I bet the Dutch are tired of you also.

WHY would anyone buy a new piece of luggage from Harley Davidson? Others are better quality and cheaper. The only reason I buy anything from that company is because I like to ride there motorcycles. Everything else about this company sucks, especially pricing!

The armor protection is not CE Level 2, the Latitude comes with Level 1 in the back, elbows and shoulders

My Latitude has been worn in temperatures ranging from 20F to 100F. For colder weather, a down filled puff jacket or a Gerbing electrically heated jacket is worn underneath the Latitude. For hot weather, a thin synthetic base layer is worn underneath the Latitude and all the vents are opened up. Think of the Latitude as the protective outer layer of a layered system. The inner layers will need to be varied to suit the conditions. My use case is adventure riding that ranges from freezing mornings in the mountains to hot afternoons in the desert. Adjust the base and mid layers as the temperature changes.

I love my Klim Latitude. Is it perfect? Almost... Bought the first one five years ago. Hit a patch of black ice at 50 mph when it was a year old, dropped the bike and slid down the tarmac to a stop with no injury, not even a bruise or scratch. The Latitude jacket had a couple of holes worn through the outer layer into the armor at the shoulder, hips and elbow. KLIM sent me a new replacement for free, exactly as advertised. I am still using the replacement four years later. It is still fully waterproof. All the zippers work properly. There only two minor complaints. The collar construction is too thick and stiff where it meets up under your chin, forming a hard lump that presses against the Adams apple. This only applies if the jacket is zipped all the way to the top for running in rain or cold weather. The other design problem is that the collar is not high enough in the back to extend under the helmet. Rain water drips off the back of the helmet into the inside of the collar, then runs down inside the jacket, bypassing all that great Goretex waterproofing. There is also a small spot just under your chin that is exposed where rain can collect and then run down inside the jacket. The solution for running through heavy rain for more than an hour or so is to put on another light weight raincoat with an integral hood over the Latitude. The raincoat hood fits under the helmet and prevents the water drip from going into the back of your Latitude jacket. My Latitude jacket is paired with a pair of Latitude pants. Water running down the front of the jacket lands in the crotch area of the pants, but never goes through the pants. The family jewels are kept warm and dry! It has been long known by experienced adventure and touring riders that the only way to stay totally dry in heavy rain is to wear double raincoats. Any single raincoat is bound to have a leak somewhere, but it will block 99% of the rain. The second raincoat blocks that last 1%.

So you never ridden your bike with these? I like these glove, the only thing i really really hate= put them on !!! Wear the Klim jacket, and put these gloves on, is a pain in the ass !

I never had the need to remove the "tour pack". Even when I'm riding alone, I always need somewhere to store my helmet and jacket. The Ultra is an absolutely perfect bike.

I have been riding since 1971. I agree with all you have said, the most important piece of advice comes at 5:50 to test gloves while holding handlebars, for so many reasons. Also as you started to say, extra material in palm area will become uncomfortable very quickly, especially while using throttle and levers. Older guys get cramps in hands and you can lose feeling and strength...all because of a poor fitting glove...and the distractions and annoyance will ruin your riding...Thanks. I really like this model in Klim’s line-up. You absolutely really should have put that bad boy on. Way too much talking. At the premium price of Klim gear I’m looking up all the details this nice jacket to know best. Now go re-shoot this video and wear it. 😂

Psst: Jacket is NOT coated, the outer portion of the fabric is bonded to the (inner portion) with Goretex fabric and that, is the rain barrier--not a exterior waterproof coating (like some), that can wear off over time. That said, I'm most disappointed you didn't model the jacket (because we have similar builds) so I could see how it looks on--we already know how it works.

I suppose if you would lokk into the AGM-Bikers Voyager Series bags, you would reconsider your opinion! I am riding my Voyager 3 (together with a Rolly 2) for about 60.000 km of long distance trips throughout Europe and did not come acorss any better bag!

That bag is meant for a rear rack mount. Not really a seat mount. The backrest will go inside that flap at the back.

Really useful video, thanks for putting this up. I was curious about how the bags were attached to the bike and I can see now it seems very secure and should work well on my sissy bar which has a flat rack at the rear. Cheers !

What people don't expect when they buy an Ultra limited and try to take the tour pack off is everything you have to buy before you can do that. Such as the four-point docking hardware the quick detach for the tour pack turn signals for your saddlebags or between your saddlebags in the filler panels an antenna relocation kit a license plate relocation kit which probably needs a tail light with window on the bottom instead of the top... It's a lot of money to spend but I think it's worth it in the end because I prefer the street glide look around town and then toss the tour pack back on if I go on long distance rides.
