I am so mad that they are letting Kelli Giddish go especially after making us wait so long to finally get Amanda and Sonny together!!! Sadly, I think part of the reason the decision was made is because they want to finally go down the road of a Liv/Stabler pairing and they don't want to have 4 main characters as couples even though Stabler is technically not on SVU. I'm hoping that as some kind of consolation they write her out in a way that Amanda and Sonny's relationship can continue off screen like NYPD Blue did years ago with Connie and Andy when Charlotte Ross left the show. The couple got married and she left the job to stay home and raise their 3 kids. She was still mentioned quite a bit afterward.
