Thanks for the video! What brand is that loom? I have a plastic loom for hats but my prongs are farther apart than that one and it isn’t as tight as that one 😢
How much yarn is needed? Grams, yards or metres, please?
Telling us how many stitches instead of saying this many centimeters would have helped. Useless.

Whats a corasponding Loop
Been looking for this kind of video for ages-thanks!❤❤❤
I love this video! Your voice is so calming, and the instructions clear and easy to follow❤
Great clear tutorial! Thank you for your video :)
72 peg loom
How much yarn needed for this double knitted hat?
Thank you for your video. Sometimes, it's nice just to do something easy and really get a good chance to show off the beautiful colors of a yarn. Like yours!
Thanks very much for this tutorial! Well done! Very easy to follow! I’ve made 2 of these hats! ❤️
what if l dont have aran yarn can l used 4 regular yarn
Yes. That's what I use. Turns out very nice. Good luck!
Thanks for sharing this! I will be making this hat!
Beautiful work!!!!
Thank you , what a beautiful fushia beanie! I just started working on my loom, and I will follow your measurement of 60 cm in length, then fold it up 😊god bless !
ive gotten myself into a pickle... i did a double layer for the brim and then I put it away for a while. When I picked it up again I decided I want to make it a double layer beanie so it's really long... but idk how to join it to the first bit to make it double and then idk how to close it on the top 😂
Thanks for your Hat pattern ❤
Beautiful
THANK YOU❤I've always wanted to try this but was not sure how to close it up as the commercially made ones are cut and sewn with a sewing machine And they have funny little seams at the top.
Mira qué lindo te. Quedo🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Your lovely dog - it is so sad he has a slipped disc, and I hope that it will get better very very soon. I just found you today, and am soooo glad I did. I have a spare room that would be great as a craft room, my craft is pottery painting, and upcycling furniture. I live alone with my beautiful black rescue greyhound Madge, so find it quite challanging trying to move stuff on my own, but I manage somehow. I have to be careful of my back - I am now 66 years young - as I had a slipped disc, and had it removed many years ago. It was the best thing to happen to me - having the disc removed I mean! But I just do things gradualy, and get where I want to be eventualy! Thank you for sharing all this with us. Blessings from Jilly & Madge, from a wet Devon, England. xxx
Hi Jilly, my dog is doing much better now! I didn't think there would be much possibility for him to recover, but we did what the vet recommended and he is full of beans again. Now we need to be careful that he doesn't hurt himself by sheer silliness. Pottery painting and upcycling furniture sound like marvellous hobbies to have, and very useful ones too! Oh yes, do be careful moving things with your back! I am glad to hear that you too have made a great recovery from a slipped disc, even though you had to get an operation for it. Thanks for commenting and all my best wishes to you and Madge.
@@LeelooDaisyDot Thank you for replying, so very pleased to here that your lovely dog is much better now. Hope your craft room is still giving you lots of pleasure. xxx
Hello from the US! Enjoyed watching you put your craft room together. Lovely space, your storage system, and tables! Thank you for sharing!❤️ Sweet pup. I hope he gets well soon. 🙏🏻❤️ love your pictures of the wolves. I love wolves and because I couldn’t have a wolf I got myself a Siberian Husky do to their similarities 😆 which I loved her dearly. Unfortunately she passed a couple of years ago. Miss her so much. I plan to have a painting done of her to put in my craft room. ❤️ I’m a paper crafter mostly and a beginner at learning to sew. I’m wanting to learn to crochet and have been starting to gather up items needed to prepare to learn that as well….wish me luck! Hopefully I will catch on to it. Looking forward to watching you sew and perhaps some crocheting lessons for beginners😁 Take care and many blessings to you and your family❤️
Hi Missy Todosciuk, thank you vey much for your lovely and chatty comment, I appreciate it very much! Siberian Huskies are awesome. So sorry to hear that you lost her. I painting of her would be great in your craft room! I'm curious what paper crafts you do. Well done at learning to sew too. It's quite doable, isn't it? And crochet isn't hard either, you will definitely catch on! I will consider the crochet lessons for beginners... many blessings to you too! 🌸🌹🌺
@@LeelooDaisyDot Thank you! By the way, I do all kinds of paper crafting such as Cardmaking, junk journal books and regular journal album books, pocket letters, explosion album box, artist trading cards. I’m in several swap groups and swap the paper craft items I make. I really enjoy it…it makes my heart happy❤️ I forgot to mention that I also like to cross stitch too. When I was younger my sister taught me. Actually my sister is very creative person and is the one who inspired me to explore paper crafting and the other crafty hobbies😊❤️ And yes I’m enjoying learning to sew. I was intimidated at first but getting more comfortable and not over worrying as much about learning. Just taking my time and having fun 😊
That sounds amazing! I have never heard of explosion album boxes or artist trading cards before, so I had to look them up. The swap groups sound amazing! Yes, cross stitching is great too, I have done it from time to time. Crafting is such a joy! All best, Daisy.
Hiya Can you tell where can I buy the product Thx you
My knitting loom is from Kiwico Makercrate, which is a monthly craft subscription box. The KnitUK loom is similar if you are in the UK www.knituk.com/ourshop/prod_6941824-KnitUK-Round-Green-Knitting-Loom-72-pegs-fitted-medium-gauge-loom.html, KB Looms has a set of three looms www.knittingboard.com/premium-round-looms-small-gauge/, or if you are looking for something very special, look at this one www.cindwoodlooms.com/products/pre-order-7-16-gauge-70-peg-adult-hat-loom

Very pretty, thanks for sharing
You are so welcome🌺
THANK YOUUUUUU
Very nice love the idea of double layers. Thank you for sharing.
You are so welcome! 🌷
Hi lady How many rows did you do for the double layer and many rows for brim thanks the Geelong Geelong
I'm a bit lazy to count all the rows, however I just counted that I have 27 rows in 10cm. I think it's more important to knit the length that you want it than to count rows. Hope that helps!
Appreciate your video. Love those draws- saw them at the Range and Hobby craft. I don't crochet ( yet) but have brought our daughter a crochet set which she loves using. I don't drink coffee or have any pets. I love horses and dream of riding them. From a feng shui point of view you may want to include 2/ 4 more horses with that single horse- for AMAZING opportunities, prosperity and success with your Craft Projects and business.
Thanks for sharing! Hope you get ride a horse sometime soon!
How many pins are on your loom.
72
Can I use a 41 peg loom
I think it may be possible to knit a hat with a 41 peg loom. I'm not sure how big it would turn out though.
Hello! Which specific Kiwico box loom is this because I see two on their website? Do we know your loom’s spacing of pegs and their thickness?
I used the smaller one. It has 72 pegs and a circumference of 70 cm. The pegs are 5mm thick.

Beautiful work.
Thank you! 🌹
I am enjoying your craft room tour....love the colored drawer system.😀
Glad you like it! 🌸
شكرا لهذي الأيادي التي تصنع الدفء 🥶🥶🙋♀️
مسرور بأنك أعجبت به (hope that makes sense)
I like how this hat turns out. So much better than single thickness. Will definitely give it a go! Thanks for sharing this technique. I am subscribing now. 😊
Oh yes, the double layer is good for the cold weather we're having at the moment. Hope your turns out great!
What brand loom did you use and how many pegs? Margaret in north dakota
Hi Margaret, I got my loom with a craft subscription box from Kiwico. It has 72 pegs and 70cm circumference. Hope that helps!
Approx how much time does it take to make one?
It took me about a week's worth of evenings in front of the TV. I'm sorry that is very vague. I will remember in future to note down how long a project takes me.
@@LeelooDaisyDot Sounds like a good answer to me, thanks for answering.
What weight yarn did you use..is it fingering?
Hi Jane, I used aran weight yarn - that is the yarn that is recommended for my loom.
Very nice ❤
Thank you! 🌸
I love this video as my side room I craft with is about the same size. Course I share mine with two granddaughters that are frequent visitors!
I'm sure your granddaughters don't mind sharing the room with your crafts! It's when it's the parents that are visiting that it is not so ideal. 🌷
Puppy is wondering what’s happening to HIS bed!🐸At least this is what my pups would say! Love your craft/guest room!
He has a bed in every room 😂
Love the tables
They are from IKEA.
🤗 I’d move all the drawers so they’re double stacked (2 across like now but also 2 down) and you only have the one rainbow going down instead of the 2… pink pink, red red, orange orange, etc… 27:00
That’s a brilliant idea!
Just found you today, and what a fun video! I had to subscribe because where else on UA-cam can one find crafts and learn Afrikaans! 😂 🐪➕🐎➡🦒 Hello from the USA! 👋
Nice to meet you, TyTyTheGoat! I will be sure to put more Afrikaans lessons in my videos! 😎 Your math is excellent!
Welcome to youtube. What a wonderful way to start. Congratulations. Ithink we are all looking for new creative storage spaces. Beautiful white, bright space. New subscriber here. 😊❤😊
Just a thought, take this video, cut a vertical slice and then create five or six (or more) “shorts” or videos that are shorter than 60 seconds. This is a fun video and could give you some great shorts for more exposure.
Hi Wendy, thank you so much for stopping by and for the great advice about shorts. It's all a steep learning curve and I don't quite have my head around shorts yet, but it is definitely on the to-do list. I really appreciate you taking the time to comment.
Would love any advice on what works for you. I receive twice as many view hours on shorts as I do with regular videos
Don't give up your craft room for guest! Get a pull out couch. I love my craft room!
😂 I love your passion for crafting! I think some extra special guests need a little TLC and a special room of their own to stay - at least in my case they do!
I love those drawers‼️ I have some and wish I could buy more.
Yes, it's not easy to find them! When I was looking, they were only at Hobbycraft. Hope you can find more!
If you’re in the US those colorful drawers can be found at Joann, Michael’s, and Container Store.
I enjoyed your video and how you sorted out your craft room. Greetings from Oregon, USA.
Thank you for watching all the way from Oregon, glad you enjoyed i!
