have you heard any of his more recent music? his mixing and mastering has gotten much better very quickly

@@verlexin8398 Yeah, I've listened to most of his discography, and his newer music still sounds very closed in and lacks greatly in sound stage. A lot of other aspects in his mixes have definitely gotten better, but it still sounds like he's using single-channel mono mixing and mastering techniques.

Absolutely got your point but I still love his works. I think the mono mixing you mentioned is quite wrong. More like he simply blasted the mixing, mastering, everything to the point it's almost deafening that you can't hear anything but noise, or missing out the tiny background details. Have you seen the desc in his Qyoh video? He said "the louder the better". I mean I noticed his mixing is already sounds oddly louder than most producer, even since his miku era like decade ago. And unfortunately it's noticeably getting even louder (in a bad way) since he dropped Looking for Edge of Ground (and imho Tera I/O was at the lowest point of his productions). I remember watched some video analysis of his background and when he first started making music, he said the end result was always sounds low and weak and he tried everything to make it sounds louder and better since then, even though his hardware was still limited and not advanced enough. Just my assumption but I think he still sticks to that thought up until now. Not to the point that I despise it, even I still got a little mixed feeling about the mixing in my all-time favorite album of his, Heart of Android, but I just can't deny he's absolutely one talented artist out there. Also I agree with what person above you stated. He's getting better but still sticks with being loud, deafening mixing. I feel he returned to his usual loudness in UUFO but with something new distinct vibe in it (in a better way). And if you also listen to his guest songs (songs featured in other artists label) his mixing is quite tamer than his usual songs under his own label. Check out Tuliparfeit, it's got the best mixing in some of his latest works imo. And yeah as a diehard Camellia fan I hope nothing but the best for his growth as a producer to better his mixing and mastering skills so that we can clearly hear and fully appreciate all the massive amount of tiny details in all his bangers. sorry to bother it's so long lol
