used to live on the military base up the hill and walked to my school, Regi and he is right, all in that area are very rundown and sad. Even in the early-mid 70's these neighborhoods were scary.

Kingston has the worst roads of any city in Ontario. That I've seen. I grew up and went to school on those streets, they haven't fixed them since WWII!

Just got back after being away for 50 years. I grew up and used all those streets for years, going to school, church and hanging out. I was shocked at the state of the roads. I've lived in or at least visited almost every town or city in Ontario and Kingston has the worst roads of any of them. They haven't been touched since WWII. Not to mention the druggies passed out in all the parks and sidewalks. It was never like this! It's hard to believe the apathy of the local politicians.

Unlike many cities even the older areas of Kingston are quite well kept. Wanta see urban decay? Google Gary, Indiana and take a look.

Make one wonder what people 100 years from now will think of this video...

Nothing wrong with any of our streets. It's very safe to walk around and neighbors greet you. I'll take this any day over the dumps in crime ridden Toronto

Relaxing? I live across the street from the beginning scenes. Druggies and thieves passed out all over the sidewalks, store and building lots. Roads that haven't been repaired in 60 years - the worst in Ontario. More screaming ambulance sirens than GAZA (one every 2 minutes). Apathetic and lazy politicians.

I just visited Kingston. It’s kinda sad to so the difference a short drive away from here can be seen. But toronto and other parts of Ontario can have the same feel. The drugs and lack of attention is shocking . Come Canada we should be thriving together.

Makes one wonder how busy they will be... Will find out soon enough...
