Nintendo making bangers back in 1928
Beautiful
1) MK64 (probably I played more the newer versions but nostalgia wins) 2) I used to pick DK but maybe Toad 3) Maybe Koopa Troopa Beach from 64 because it's got great music 4) Never. These things are safer when you do them on a console. Specially if you do like I used to do with my friends, that every time I fell I used those seconds to sip a bit of vodka, and that made falls more frequent haha
This is pure fire 🔥🔥🔥
Knowing the context, it brings tears to my eyes. 26th century's humanity have truly sinned by bringing tormented and hated offspring upon this world. Now 22nd century humanity have to repent for sins of their bloodline.
SupraDarky on November 10th 2013, 11:56 pm I always had a hard time deciding which Silent Hill was my favorite. Sometimes it's this one, sometimes it's SH2 and other times SH3. The games from Team Silent created such a uniquely dark atmosphere, I just love Yamaoka's music mixed with the rusty visuals and the memorably depressing storylines. This theme plays during one of the most memorable scenes in the game with the nurse Lisa asking for Harry's help and not getting it. I actually enjoyed Homecoming, it had a couple memorable moments (like the Hell Descent), but the games by Team Silent were definitely much better in almost every way. I haven't played Downpour yet, I actually got it a week ago!
Años escuchando este tema y preguntándome si algún scw lo iba a usar en algo para que comenzara a llegar gente acá diciendo que vinieron por él. Jueguen Katamari mejor será.
Sounds like some kind of variation of Ocarina of Time's Spirit Temple or the Gerudo training grounds
For me, the best track in all of Tekken. Takes me back to being 15 years old when I could finally play it on a console and not have to have a roll of quarters 😂
Heaven music
SupraDarky on March 24th 2014, 10:38 pm This classic had a great soundtrack, but it's too bad most of the themes feel too short, almost like unfinished demo tracks. Still, this was one of the more memorable themes in the game, very calming with some great quality instruments.
I first thought it could be something from electronic music pioneer Vangelis!
This is fire ngl Im also rn in a speedrun on the Wii U where i literally shat my pants more Unlike playing the PC Port after having experience with FPS games like CoD (playing on pc makes me feel *dreamspeedrunmusic.mp3*
SupraDarky on November 7th 2013, 4:34 am Gonzalez and his supra catchy tunes. Did you know the "Supra" in my name comes from me saying "supra" instead of "super" when I was a kid? Yeah, you must be disappointed.
SupraDarky on December 11th 2014, 12:06 am I remember renting Eek The Cat for the SNES as a child and not liking it, I must have played 30 mins before putting it back in its box. I've only just learned that it was actually a port of Sleepwalker with the Eek The Cat license. I've always loved the Amiga sound when it's used well and this is no exception. Aptly titled track.
SupraDarky on November 16th 2014, 12:59 am I rented this game and finished it, but I can't say it was anything more than mediocre. The soundtrack is by far the game's best aspect. I remember hearing this tune in the first town when you start the game and thinking I was in for a great adventure, then as soon as I stepped inside the first cave and fought some monsters I quickly realized that probably wouldn't happen. Still, Atland is one of my favorite town themes on the SNES.
SupraDarky on January 28th 2016, 12:47 am I finally found it. This is the worthy Super Metroid "clone" I've been waiting for all these years. I have a very small list of games I can play through almost annually and SM was the only of one its genre... but no more, ESA has entered that list. I played so many Metroid clones and while they're almost always very solid, I'd always leave thinking that some magic ingredients (that honestly I'm not sure I can even properly identify) were missing. ESA completely came out of left field for me, I discovered it during Winter sale. The graphics first seem very basic, but they're actually full of details and help make the various areas stand out from each other. The game has flavor. It feels like each pixel has been manually added and it ends up having way more personality than the clean-looking Axiom Verge. No boring corridors, the variety of room designs is perfectly balanced. Some of the areas even feel dynamic as they change through the adventure. The great soundtrack also adds to the awesome atmosphere. This is the first 2D action exploration game since Super Metroid that managed to give me that awesome feeling of entering a new area, glancing at its unique setting while the theme kicks in and think "I wonder what I'll be in for, I can't wait to explore". The gameplay is top notch (double jump, awesome grappling hook, dashes and more), you always feel in control of your character. The upgrades are significant and change the way you explore the world in a great way, though one optional upgrade you can get near the end is overpowered. The weapon variety is minimal, but it never bothered me. There are a lot of bosses and they're all very solidly designed. After you beat the game, there are even cryptic puzzles that you can try to decipher for a secret ending (we're talking Fez type of cryptic here, I had to use the internet but it's definitely doable), adding many hours of gameplay. I played on both difficulties and I have to say, I found the Easy difficulty to be the perfect one for a first playthrough, I highly recommend doing that (especially because of the bosses). All the faults I talked about in Axiom Verge are nowhere to be found here. This is my 2nd favorite 2D action exploration game of all time, behind Super Metroid. Oh, and I'm such a big fan of the game's world structure that I added a link to the detailed map in the description which you can zoom (do not open if you don't want to be spoiled). You know you liked a game when you remember every single room of a big map like that perfectly.
SupraDarky on February 11th 2014, 11:31 pm A great remake of the first Etrian Odyssey. The Withered Forest was my favorite track in the original, and it's still the case here. Gotta love Yuzo Koshiro! He has great range. Etrian Odyssey is a highly regarded niche series, it'd be quite interesting to have a big entry for the Wii U, it could work really well thanks to the gamepad. There are so many awesome 3DS games, it's pretty hard to say. I bought Bravely Default today and I'd definitely recommend that game. Super Mario 3D Land and Resident Evil Revelations are some of my favorites as well. Then there are games I haven't even played like Mario&Luigi: Dream Team, Luigi's Mansion 2, Shin Megami Tensei IV, Kid Icarus, Pokemon X/Y... the choice is yours. Happy birthday!
Extra nice music!!!
Im still listening
This music sucks the previous version was much more better
This is one of my absolute favorite JRPG battle themes, not gonna lie.
SupraDarky on April 10th 2014, 11:40 pm This is a prequel to Ar tonelico, it came out recently in Japan but I'm not sure this one will make it here since the series is very niche. It always has solid music though, the Gust sound team really developed its own recognizable style. I have no idea if this game is actually any good though.
Fue un buen juego !! Nostalgico.
SupraDarky on July 7th 2015, 11:09 pm A fun platformer, though it didn't leave a lasting impression on me after I played it. The soundtrack is fairly good with hightlights like this first stage theme. I'm sure glad fire breathing tigers don't really exist.
SupraDarky on June 17th 2013, 10:49 pm I finished this SNES RPG a week ago, I had no idea it even existed until I saw an english translation for it. Everything about this game is unbalanced. Some monsters&bosses are too easy and some are way too hard. The graphics are very basic, then you'll reach an area with top notch graphics. Same with the music, either completely forgettable or very pleasant (like this one). The game is also very slow, I used the fast forward button a lot. It has some neat ideas though, like the invention system and the various vehicles. There are ground, sea and air vehicles, each acting as modes of transport on the overworld with powerful battle abilities. I also like how items in this game are actually very good (you can buy 999 of each and they're cheap), without them you won't win many boss battles, especially when it comes to healing. Overall an average game I'd only recommend to those looking for those obscure old school RPGs.
いつも思うけどディードの構造だけ他の2隻と色々違うよね
PLEASE KOJIMA, I BEG OF U, BRING THIS TO PC
SupraDarky on April 7th 2013, 11:11 pm I usually prefer the upbeat instrumentals from this game, but some vocal tracks like this one or Marigold from Pop'n Music 8 are actually enjoyable thanks to the singers' pleasant voice. Plus some guy sings "Pa papa, angel" for no reason, that's always a plus.
SupraDarky on April 30th 2013, 11:09 pm Back from a quick trip. I've read a quite a few comments about this 1337 number (which mean leet or elite... it even has its own wikipedia entry) so I figured I'd upload a track from the genre I associate it with: multiplayer shooters, especially ~10 years ago. Counter Strike is probably the game where I saw the most people use leetspeak. Anyways, Unreal Tournament is a classic and holds a lot of memories of me playing it with friends during lunchbreak at a gamestore near our school. Very nice minimalist/downtempo soundtrack too. UT2003/2004 became my favorites in this series though, and for some reason I never really paid attention to Unreal Tournament 3.
SupraDarky on January 10th 2013, 11:33 pm It's a good thing I like this theme because if I'm correct, this game only has 2 tracks. Legend of Grimrock reminded me why I loved playing old school dungeon RPGs back in the day. There's a big lack of those kind of games now and Grimrock is a big success. Super addictive, I found myself thinking about this game a lot when I wasn't playing it, I wanted to get back into its dark labyrinth, solve its puzzles and battle its monsters. The combat took a bit of time to get used to, I'll admit. If you see this game cheap, I recommend it. There are a couple puzzles that are too obscure though. As for this theme, the composer actually came up with the melody while driving and recorded himself humming it. I added a link in the description (first 20 seconds or so) because I think it's funny, and because I do that myself quite a lot when composing music. The melody at 2:53 of my track Voyage is an example, I still have the recording!
Came here from an animation of a silly alien cat.
OMGGGG SAMEEEE HAHAHAHA
YEEEEE ME TOOOOOO
Lmao😂 i‘m so mad this isn’t to be found on Spotify!!!! Probably why we all ended up here
pls link me the video of that meme with this music
@ it’s a TikTok video, so I don’t think it’s on UA-cam
Whaaaaaat this slaps, and is super cute. I don't know who sings this but I want to go on a date with her 😍
Wait! This isn't Zelda!
Please support this game to PC or something I didn't want Aveda nobody wanted one
A part of the song sounds like scarborough fair
The style of the song reminds me a little of Chrono Cross.
No conozco el videojuego, llegué por recomendación de youtube, pero necesito la canción en spotify para ser feliz 👁🫦👁💖💖
Unbelievable!
Such a dreamy tune!
SupraDarky on July 27th 2013, 7:09 pm It took me until now to try this game since I heard so many negative things about it. It's true, it has absolutely nothing to do with the first game's story (A New Legend Begins indeed). But you know what? This took me completely by surprise because I find this game very good on its own. The puzzles are super interesting, the music by Tanaka is great as always, the light hearted story is filled with charming humor and the localization by Activision is solid. Full of challenging dungeons. It's far from perfect though, the graphics are sub-average and the floaty controls make for awkward battles (but surprisingly work well for the platforming). The default camera is too close to the character, make sure to press Select once to zoom it out! I also recommend playing on Easy, which is the equivalent of Normal in Japan. I'm playing on Normal and the normal monsters hit like a truck! Save states prevent a lot of frustration.
This music is in a fucking Kirby game! I mean I know the series is known for its bangers but good lord
I got this game for christmas and Ill never forget playing with Dr. Bosconovitch xD
Track giving me Shovel Knight vibes
Loved this back then, currently have this theme set to the hangar stage in tekken 8
I do love some of the more modern remixes, but... damned if I won't always have a place in my heart for this.
The art is truly beautiful, all of the little angels happy about dream showing up or scared because of the mirror, the owl keeping Tye angel back from loosing his mind, the other one playing with the mouse or train, dream’s cute and smug face and dreams giving him the best Christmas he ever had
One of the Best VGM indeed
the "shit just got real" theme. You KNEW you were in for it when this cranked up to eleven on your ass.
oh, THAT hit the nostalgia right in the feels right there.
