I think what Jesus did for me dying on the Cross is beautiful but I was surprised and sad since I heard someone saying that there's people who are more close to God than me and there's nothing I could do about it to change that. Because God chose some people to get closer to him and others who cannot be even if they're saved and chose to follow him. It's quite sad but I understand that if God wants this, he's better than me to do what he wants to do. I hope that people who are close to Jesus be happy and be blessed by him always.
It’s not about being closer than others to him, it’s about being as close as you possibly can. Also i don’t think people are closer to Him than you are or vice versa, i think what changes is your understanding of Him. Don’t worry my guy, He loves you, infinitely
We all have access to God now because of what Jesus did. What you’re going to do with that access is up to you. If you’re a true born again Christian, then you are one with Christ. There’s no closer or farther. You either are one with Him or not. Now how well you know Him and how intimate you may be with Him is up to you because He wants all of you, and desires you. That’s why He died for you! So He could be with you and you with Him. Now and forever. Eternal life is knowing the Father and He whom He sent, Jesus Christ. Seek Him with all your heart and you’ll find more and more of Him. Don’t let this thinking keep you from God. He will meet you if seek Him.
