Genmitsu claims their 3018 PROVer v2 is an easy CNC
I wonder if you could use this for climbing holds or is it too weak? Thinking for areas where putting a tnut in isnt possible.
New sub. Super cool ideas man. Ive been looking to do things like this and somehow forgot rivnuts existed. Thanks.
🔥 What’s the craziest or most genius way you would use a rivnut? 🤔 Drop your ideas in the comments-I might just test out the best (or wildest) ones in a future video! Let’s hear your creative shop upgrade hacks! 🚀🔧
Hi sir, thanks for the vidéo. Wanna know Which genmitsu model do you have, and is it reliable to start with it to do a small object?
It's the Genmitsu 4040 pro max. Very reliable to start out with. I'm very impressed with it so far and I'm far from reaching it's limits currently.
🎯 What’s the one CNC accessory you can’t live without? Or maybe you’re just starting and have questions about the tools I mentioned-drop them below! Let’s chat and make your CNC journey smoother together.
What is the material you are using for the form
Corrugated plastic. I got mine free but Home Depot sells sheets of it.
interesting but…. 25’ is the sweet spot and accuracy of *\- 1” @ 16’ is not accurate.
I been looking for a measuring tape whit a laser and black tape high visibility for the dark do you know any
That's a great question. I don't know that I've seen one that fits that. Someone really should make one though.
You’ve somehow made something as potentially mundane as a tape measure/laser measure apparatus into an easy-to follow (and fun) vidjo, thusly creating a desire for me to have both of these methods of measurement (which I have multiples of, separately) in one convenient combination. I’d fish some stiff wire or a dental pick through that mystery chasm and get that dang wrist strap to connect…. Even at the sacrifice of 2 hours and 23 minutes (or more, if necessary, because I’d have to have that one last feature in play). Great vidjo and great gadget!!
Thank you for the kind words! It’s awesome to hear that you enjoyed the video and found it helpful. Your enthusiasm really makes my day!
What’s the coolest way you could see yourself using the Inkerma Ace-Tape? 🛠 Got questions about its features or how it performs? Let me know in the comments-I’d love to hear your thoughts and ideas!
I just bought that same cnc and it should be here tomorrow, really excited
Once you get a little familiar with it you're going to love it!
What ai image generator did you use? I couldn’t catch the website
perchance.org/ai-text-to-image-generator It does take a little tweaking on settings but no registration needed which is nice.
This is mostly with a beginner focus with common bits to start with. There's so many other bits to consider so which CNC bit is your go-to favorite? 💡 Let me know in the comments below!
I dont even own a cnc but im watching anyways
You're awesome keep it up
Good job you deserve more subs comments and likes. Make more content
The flatness of your benchtop depended entirely on two things which you didn't explain ... those two dimensional lumber siderails you used had to be dead flat, end to end ... really a separate job for a very well set up jointer with a long bed ... and then the two side rails had to be level and the jointed edges had to be desd parallel end to end, like two very long winding sticks with no real space to sight them ... otherwise, the result is a very well flattened twisted benchtop ... if you're satisfied, it must have worked out, but you didn't say how you accomplished this delicate magic! Cheers!
You're not wrong, but possibly the magic was some partial luck as well. I spent at least an hour going through 2 bys to find the straightest I could and then immediately used them before they had time to do the thing pine is notorious for, twisting and bending. You bring up a good point of an explanation point I totally missed! I appreciate it!
Strewth, how long did it take to build & test?. You grew a full beard !
I was hoping someone would get a laugh from that! Had some family stuff that caused a big delay in getting this done.
Built or bought? What are your thoughts?
I have an earlier version of the Tower Top. Repaired an AGM delco 760cca.
Hey guys Cabinetmaker here. Pine is really not the woodo to achieve nice carvings. It's loose grain makes it prone to chip easily. If you want to do some crisp carving try Steamed beech.
Solid advice! I'm hoping to cover that soon as well. Pine has been good for me for testing ideas.
I like doing it the other way. Carve the design, spray paint the carving, then do a flattening run to remove the excess paint. Both look good, just another option.
I hadn't considered that but that's a great way to do it that would give a great smooth surface too!
@@MyHappinessUnleashed A little light sanding and you are good to go, but man... you really gotta let that paint dry...
2 things. More info on Inkscape, never heard of it... a free version of Easel Pro, or comparable program that one can buy once and be done with it, instead of renting access to a program for a monthly fee. I would happily buy a program I can continuously use into the future, but I refuse to rent software.
Inkscape is free, which is why I use it. And I couldn't agree more on buy once software. I'll try to cover these aspects soon!
Carbide Create is primarily monthly subscription for Pro features, Basic is free up to V6. You can do a buy it, but need annual maintenance charge to get fixes & updates
@@JohnColgan. I have an install file for Carbide Create 6.52(never tried it). Does that allow for 3D carving like a landscape model? Im not interested in a subscription or long term maintenance, Im a basic hobbyist who just wants to make a few things in my rare moments of off time.
@starhawke380 you can get a month (or 3 not sure current time) of pro on trial which has the 3D relief, stl or greyscale depth map capability. After elapsed time it will revert to standard. If you buy, you can get latest v7 or v8 and save G-Code locally. It comes with 1 year of maintenance fixes. Look them up for pricing. Great product, lightweight, quick & easy to use. I used it for couple of years before going to CarveCo Maker. Let me know how you get on..
Couldn't you just use gcode tools plugin in inkscape ?
Anybody notice how there's a lack of beginner info out there? This will be the first of a small series. Anything you'd like to see covered for a beginner?
I love working with resin. Do you want to see more resin videos?
Thanks. Good video.
Appreciate hearing that!
UV resin can be so versatile as long as it stays away from light! What are some tricks you've found to repair resin?

What's your go to solution for the summer heat?
Wicked Cool! (Pun intended, but it really is wicked cool!)
Brilliant , simply brilliant!!
WICKED COOL!
Very cool.
Holy crap, how did I not think of this. To date my best trick was saving the thick rubber bands that come on broccoli heads, but those always break after a while and then it becomes a mess again. This is way better! Thanks for sharing!
I was shocked how simple it was and how have so many people overlooked it?
Just what I needed today. Thank you.
You are so welcome!
When I was a teenager I had a car with a bad battery. I sat in a McDonalds parking lot with jumper cables dangling over my hood so hopefully someone would stop and jump my car. A woman asked if I needed help and I told her, I just need a jump. She asked what that required so I explained, any vehicle with a battery. I should have been more specific. She said "Oh, sorry, I don't believe my van has one of those" as she promptly rolled up her window and sped away. I'm a firm believer in something like this to help new drivers on the road!
Some people just want to look helpful.
If you are eager to see the repair steps, hit that like button!
The sun really took a toll on that table! You still made it look awesome though!
Yes! Thank you!
I would eat it
It may look like cake, but I assure you, it is not cake.

Those plugs look spaced out well
These look good for general purpose
I also like the black and yellow. Looks like a solid power strip. I’ll definitely check it out. 👍🏽
Where will you use a power strip like this?
Would you like to see more use and examples of this laser?
yes
