Hiking Spookie Gulch

Hiking Spookie Gulch in Utah's Dry Fork. Great for family and kids, Spookie Gulch runs off from Peek A Boo Gulch. It is a great started canyon for those wishing to start in slot canyons. Although you will have some scrambling to do, it is not a technical hike. It does have some narrow areas that will have those of a large body frame working to get through. @@louherrera6 I no longer live up in that area. I moved do central Utah to a town called Salina
@@tmaster141 ok thanks
This place is awesome.. was just there in August with my family on our trip to Zion
they are.....gone
Super post, thanks. Every time I've visited the Canyonlands country and into the Book Cliffs I've seen wild horses. A pleasure to do so. Many were ranch turnouts and a few previously from the outlaws' times...
These horses are on public land. So why do ranchers think they have the right or the knowledge to say there are too many horses on the range? I say there are too many cows on the range. Everytime im out in the west desert thats all I see. If you cant afford to feed your stock. Get an education and move to the city. Your complaining robs "all" americans of their heritage. Live free wild horses. Long before we came and hopefully long after we are gone!
This is how mother nature does it and is the best !!

Sad to think if the BLM gets its way these horses will be replaced with cows. Anything for money, eh America? These mustangs are suppose to be protected but I guess the government gets to break its own laws and that's fine but as soon as a person does it it's a crime. I'm terrified we are going to lose this part of the west and wild mustangs in America will be nothing but a fairy tale.
ScarsFromTomorrow The BLM is set up to make sure these animals have a healthy environment to live in. Population control is a must to keep them from destroying too much of the environment. Nobody is saying mustangs don't have a right to be here, that's why they are protected by law. I'm tired of people vilifying the BLM when they have the horses best interests in mind...
What a colorful herd! Watching horses in the wild makes me feel human again. You may enjoy 2.5 minutes of herds near Wendover and Winnemucca Nevada galloping over the hills set to wild horses music: ua-cam.com/video/YMi-zyEtKRk/v-deo.html Thanks for taking the time to share your footage on youtube.
beautiful horses, God bless them
Some of these have since traveled a Frenchmans digestive system and were long flushed away
I want the horse at 4:49
he does not want you (:
Funny. I wouldn't have time right now anyways. My kids act wild enough. Lol
these may be horses that blm now wants to remove in july, 2014

Check out the song Wild Horses, from Strictly Cash, the Johnny Cash tribute band. It refers to the part of America that is being destroyed by these roundups. Wild Horses Their website is at www.strictlycash.info
lol u cant even get them video of them running ur a looser
I don't see anywhere it says this is a video of Mustangs running. And only a loser would misspell loser. (it's not looser)
Why was my comment removed?
Is that cloud? Looks like him with his herd :)
Great movie, expresses real Horse behavior. How big are these groups there. It seems as if there are different herds
This is a good example why the herds need to be managed. Notice the small water hole and the 2 stallions fighting for the rights. One stallion causes more damage to the water hole, causing less water.
This was part of the bait and trap. To draw them there, let them feel less and less wary. If you look just beyond the bait the foliage was typical of semi-arid. An area that evolve together with the Wild horses for thousands of years. As for the water. When a mustang does find a spring...usually just a muddy patch of dirt, they can dig at it to create a pond for water to settle and drink. So causing more water.
@@benoakland8805 horses are not native to america so saying they "evolved with over thousands of years" is false.
Хочу такого коня:))))а лучше две:)Кобылу и коня:))
please come get everyone of them out of new mexico and put them in utah...they like anyother domestic animal have no business "running free"..its irresponsible and sick
ive seen them here in new mexico all my life ...what they do the land...the condition of them healthwise...and if u want to leave them out on our wild lands u obviously were not "touched" in the right way in my opinion..they are every bit as destructive as feral hogs, but becasuse of romantic notions held by people who saw one once or twice or saw flika we now cant do whats right and get rid of them
This herd was the first that I saw in 2009, and profoundly touched my life. Wonderful to see them!
I will take that as a compliment! Thanks, its me not Ted.
It is not buckskin I can tell you that. Buckskins are blonde with a black mane and tail.
*THOSE beautiful silvers (later on)
0:50 that beautiful silver. OMG!
This is gnarly
Good looking buck!
1:27 Stallion 1: Are the mares looking? Stallion 2: Dunno bro,we should keep "fighting" Mares: Idiots....
beautiful horses im planing on starting a mustang sanctuary on 40 acres....
huge thumbs up for random ass video
What do you mean you'll get him -.-
I use to live in that area and those horses are just wonderful. I am so happy to see they are doing good. Very well and fast..
Joe, It is the main one out there that does stay going even in the driest summers. There are others around but they can be a hit and miss depending on weather.
Very cool! I've heard there are only a few springs out there but that SImpson Springs is the only one that's good all year. Is that true?
...Own! *_________* How beautiful!!!
i hunt at bear river, GSL, harold crane, and farmington all the time
