Good job. My personal load is to put the exoskeleton first, then the backpack and the o2 tank. Can be messy during upgrades but it simplifies things. I also bring everything back to base. Even if I don’t need it yet :)

I've got the base game on Xbox Series X. But none of the DLC or expansions. I want to start playing, but I will admit. I want to play like Warhammer 40K. Nothing but war and a war economy. I will admit the Ring World DLC is something I do want though.

I have played the Demo through to the lock point - waiting for a Steam sale to buy the full version. Personally when I am exploring I gather the 3 Fe, 2 Ti & 1 SI before I set out so I can build the Hab/Door without stress at max O2 range :)

my only complaint with this game is as follows: "needs resource stacking". same problem as subnautica imho. I'm a hoarder, limit my hoarding and I'll limit my time in your game... unless you do it through weight caps instead of slot caps. :D love the game otherwise and always check in on new playthroughs on YT :D keep rocking and best of luck with the playthrough.

The idea seemed silly when they first announced it. A reskined Stellaris mod of Star Trek, that you have to pay for, when there was already a perfectly good Star Trek mod for Stellaris that was much better and... free.

Did you figure the backpack out?!? The suspense is killing me :) It goes on the exoskeleton which only has 4 slots at T1 - don't need the torch currently. Also, comment for the algorithm

Maybe inara will unlock some of these locked systems because it's a thargoid base of some sort that the last screech activated

2 years later and im back in E.D, doing more exploration after mining and bounty hunting quite abit, have not traveled far and found some planets not even mapped by anyone but only discovered, this game has been out for ages, i been on and off, restarting fresh each time because i enjoy the journey of progression but now theres DLC and carriers i stopped wiping and started progressing further.

That's a great video. What GPU would I need for that quality of detail? I have a 7800 XT, but things are a bit grainy

Apparently the settlments being empty is a bug, ive found loads especially when the settlement is the target of an active mission.

I was making a long range anaconda got an eye for the mandalay got it prebuild got the guardian fsd booster and the new pre engineered titan fsd got a solid 74 ly ive been adding stuff taking stuff away building perfecting the mandalay for me so now im in love with it exploring is super fun now when im too far away from something i punch that sco and get there in seconds instead of minutes love it!!!

Funny that people crying about ship interiors and they dont understand that doing that stuff needs to rewrite the whole game becuse if it was added half assed like star citizen we would get a solid 10 fps if even that i love elite becuse its not like star citizen or more correctly store citizen...i love that elite works no to minimal lag at most dont care about ship interiors there are other games for that and i value fps and gameplat over unessesary stuff that just takes cpu and gpu power we got stations that we can walk around in that is enough for me funny thing is my friends say buying premade ships is pay to win i tell them that if that was the case i would win everytime im in combat and i dont and im a pretty damn good pilot im an explorer buying a premade combat ship enabled me to play with my friends becuse i dont know how to build those ships without breaking the bank i love cosmetics makes the game better for me and yea thats enough of my rabling have a good day folks.

only issue i have with the mandalay is what i assume to be thermal vents on the back of the wings, they dont ever go away even when the engine is off

Just scanned that plant shown at 1:30 while I was playing this evening. About 10K Ly out from Colonia, 1K Ly above the galactic plane. Coming back from a visit to the "lost" green gas giant. At the rate I'm traveling, I figure I should be able to find somewhere to turn in my data in about another 6 months, maybe.

Nice rant on Paradox blaming them regarding the game when they weren't the game developer. Nimble Giant Entertainment were the game developers on this and Paradox merely supported them; and help publish the game. I share the same disappointment, especially with lack to bug fixes since release, a year later and there's still a number glaring game breaking bugs still exist in the game. Some addition polish and perhaps a DLC or two adding some additional features and this could've been a good game. Looks like Nimble Giants parent company Saber Interactive doing job cuts right around the same time of the games release is what's caused all this.

It is such a beautiful ship when in flight, and I love the name. Of course, when landed on those three stilts it looks a bit weird, but that is utility.

As I watch the video I hear you calling out the value of the finds, but I dont see / understand where you are seeing the values yourself.

I really wish these guides would bring more focus on HOW to find these settlements instead of glossing it over it every time. I'm having a hell of a time finding any, and when I do find one I think is right, I still get a bounty on my head and a notority level slapped on me as well.. Example: "Eravians" system shows up on INARA as "Anarchy" and "Independant", and yet that still somehow incurs bounties? I don't understand why it's so complicated.

I got lucky on the retail, I finished it and never seen the bug. This game is near and dear to my heart.....I would say sorry but it looks like you choose a much cooler path. I wish I would have known about the freespace open option. Just wanted to say thank you, yes, I am working on unlocking sarge on ED while listening to this, so thank you man.
