My 2 favorite verses for this subject are - 1Nephi 14:10 and 2Nephi 10:16 which clarifies the first. - sometimes people think that if they have been baptized and made covenants, then all is well. - but we must become something in those covenants. - these verses show that even people in The Church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints need to be constantly watchful. - if I refuse to work on what God wants me to change in my personal life - I “fighteth against Zion” - because I am not choosing God over myself. - to me - Zion is the state of being that is possible for me to reach as I allow Him to fill me with His Light. - that only happens when I quit trying to be “against” Him. and instead I work on being One with Him. He does trust us! While I was struggling to find an answer to a particular situation that I was fasting and praying about, I was sitting in the celestial room and just beside myself that some clear answer wasn’t coming. And then I had the distinct impression in my thoughts, and it was exactly what you’re talking about, the words that came to my mind were “ I trust you!” That was it, nothing else. It was clear to me that God trusted me and wanted me to choose for myself. That was a huge learning experience for me. We don’t have to be directed in all things. I watch Christian Homestead and I think??? this is the channel he was trying to send us too? It didn’t it didn’t have the name of the channel just your name unless I missed it. And you were talking about blessings that were predicated on laws. Is this the right channel? I was looking for the choice and accountability law and a couple of other ones but I didn’t see anything so I’m not sure if I’m in the right place?

This is such toxic thinking and belief. So if you have cancer or a brain tumer or a child gets childhood cancer it’s because they were sinning somehow? Ok, so, who is sinless? In romans 3:10 it says, “ There is none righteous, no, not one:” I don’t believe your idea that people are sick because they haven’t kept some law and are sinning somehow. That’s toxic. And not correct. Not biblical. We are all sinners romans 3:23. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us, 1 John 1:8. If we went by your logic then everybody should be sick all of the time, because everyone is a sinner. We all desperately need to be saved. I think what you’re preaching is kinda like “prosperity gospel” it’s a false doctrine.
