I dont think the carling cup (yes i know thats wrong buts its the carling cup to me😂) should be scrapped, however it should be for the second string sides/academy players and not the first teams untill at least the semi final. This could then allow the main sides to play those league games in august. Give time for the xmas break as well as getting fringe players and academy players more game time

He was earning around 8 million per season at Chelsea so the whole "he did it for the family" narrative is total bs ;) I was happy to learn what happened to him, it was nice to hear that he helped the club in China and was respected there.
