My Last 10 Years

I discovered last year (2023) that I may only have ten more years left on this planet, so I decided to start a UA-cam channel for my children, future grandchildren and anyone bored enough to watch.
Life is short and it's important to live it to the fullest, and by that I mean, live a well rounded, balanced life full of hopes, dreams, love, and adventure. This channel is dedicated to a life well lived, well explored, and well loved! Carpe diem!

2024 10 Canyoneering Pandors Box Capital Reef
Capital Reef National Park is a beautiful park located in South-Central Utah. Pandoras Box is a canyon in the park that is very popular for Canyoneering. In October 2024 a group of us stayed overnight in the Town of Torrey, and left early the next morning to complete this canyon, which is rated in the top 10 in Utah. It's a super tight canyon that people have gotten stuck in before, but thankfully we didn't. We stuck a rope and had to climb back up, we bruised, scraped, and banged our bodies, but we didn't make the news! If you like a canyon that is super tight with long approaches and exits, this canyon is for you!

2024 Bear Lake 100 Dirt Bike Ride

JD started a tradition years ago to do the annual Bear Lake 100 ride. We start in Hyrum UT, ride to Garden City at Bear Lake, and then ride back to Hyrum. It's roughly a 100 mile trip and it is usually pretty challenging riding (especially if Jake is plotting the course). We ride from morning until dark and it totally kicks our butts!
2024-08 Mt Rainier Washington Canyoneering

August was the perfect month to visit Mt. Rainier and do some epic canyons. On this trip we hit Big Creek Canyon, Pin Creek Canyon, Davis Creek Canyon and Panther Creek Canyon. The water was clear, the forest was green, and the canyoneering was epic! Jake & Katie, JD & Amber, and the two third wheels: Kennedy and Jordan.

The Bells rafting trip is an annual thing that we just can't pass up each year. It is a highlight of the year, and you just can't beat the company. This year we had the Bells, Biglers, Jones, Tyrrells, Scotts, and Kaasenbrroods all in attendance.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints offers an outdoor adventure opportunity to the young men in each of their Wards (local smaller group) each summer. Our Ward, the Buffalo Ridge Ward (in Syracuse Utah) opted to take our boys to Moab for some fun in the sun. 2022-09 Bear Lake 100 Ride

The Bear Lake 100 is a ride that JD Tyrell started years ago. We try to do it each year in the fall and we ride from Logan to Bear Lake and back in the same day. It's a super fun day.
2020-08 Ouray Colorado Canyoneering

This was a two day trip with four friends. Jake Bell, Chris Jones, JD Tyrell, and me, Jordan Bigler. This was my first trip to Ouray, and I fell in love with this part of the world. We did four canyons: Uncompahgre, Bear Creek, Portland, and Corbett Creek and the via ferrata climbing course. Uncompahgre was my favorite! Water canyons are the best!

The top of 9th street in Ogden is a well known rock wall that is super popular in the climbing community. It's a great place for beginners or more advanced climbers to sharpen their skills. Ben LoForte joined us for this climb and totally made the trip!
