Too bad & too sad TomTom folks decided to phase out this app, with official date given as 15.09.2024. It still works, but it won't take long till Go Ride's map APIs shall be turned off forever. IMHO, it was the best app for bikers, as it indeed was a MOTORCYCLE-focused (or rather specific, frankly) app, that had JUST the features one would use when planning a/o tracking a ride. Nothing more, but also nothing less. The navigation itself was excellent (thanks to good map data), adding multiple waypoints worked (though a bit iffy in its execution, it was fully functional), the ROUND TRIP feature worked perfectly and it provided three cool modes to select from, when choosing a ride - NORMAL, THRILLING and SUPER THRILLING. The only deficiency was the unavailability of offline maps, but considering this app was free, it was a bit of a trade-off, on TomTom's side. Sadly, its suggested replacement (AmiGO) sucks noodles. OT: Anticipating Go RIde's discontinuation, I resorted to trying out a few other apps - and in the end, I went with Here WeGo (note, that TomTom and Here are competitors), which easily became my favourite navigation app, not just for motorcycle rides. I already gave it a try riding for 2 weeks of vacation this year - and I was 100% satisfied with it, despite the lack of some of Go Ride's features. Again, a bit of a trade-off on my part, in having vs not having certain functionalities and features. LbnL a "hello from Slovakia" folks 🙂

Amazing product - does it fit older models with monochrome dash (no TFT) as well?

It's not working consistently. The "back" motion on wonder wheel doesn't always brink up the overlay and in Google maps the wheel no longer selects "recenter". These were working when I first got the device. Also wondering why these controls don't work right with drive mode dashboard and the older adventure controller did?

I have my carpe iter adv controller but its disabling the pop up keyboard, it highlights some options in google maps but wont pan around etc.

idk if i trust the plastic there. it seems very exposed and likely to break, then super expensive to replace. It also doesn't look very waterproof.

i believe the appropriate phrase is, "Shut up and take my money". I was just moaning to a friend how i missed the carpe controller i had on my previous triumph.

Your taking data from canbus or GPS? Maybe there's wheel size difference calculation versus the GPS reading...

Have yet for anyone to show us how to use all the buttons to exit into the home screen, open other apps, open contacts and make calls. Or even answer incoming calls when connected to a blueooth helmet.

Hi there, as I am planing to get a yamaha T7 world raid , and I also have a 1200 gsa I might like to get a Carpe iter device for both. I have a sim from switzerland with flatrate internet on a second SIM. but for EU I have limited 10GB. how much internet data is needed to use it in a Month when used daily around 8-10h ? do you have and Idea ? My sim is kinda using the same amount like my phone's sim. So once the date is used my phone will also have no more internet on the account.

The option to 'Migrate data' does not appear, Ive connected to a M1 Macbook and have the Android File Transfer App but the CI Pad is still not showing on the Mac? Any ideas on how to put the pad into the File Transfer setting, please?

I requested clarification through the ticket system on their site 20 days ago, NEVER received a reply. I sent an email asking for clarification on 4 December, NEVER received a reply. I wrote a comment here two days ago, it was deleted by them from you tube!!! If this is the after sales service, better stay far away from them. I am not spending 10 or 20 euros, but hundreds of euros. Before they take the money and then if something doesn't work out, it's not their's problem. if you want me to change my opinion, reply to my e-mail and behave like a serious company
