@@millers402 As you're new to PM games, you will witness something that games rarely can execue nowadays: retroactive context. Many scenes you will see, names that will drop, and even concepts being talked about will be explained or relevant later on. And that includes even gameplay elements. You will feel rewarded and smart for connecting dots when game doesn't spell them to you. Reason being, Roland is already well familiar with the City but doesn't knw anything about what happened in Lobotomy Corp; and Angela has not seen outside of the lab much, while she has indepth knowledge of what occured there. And they're exchanging information organically, when a thing is in need of explaining. You still picked the best place to start with: Library has the most input into fleshing out the universe games are set in. And while it technically spoils thhe very very ending of LobCorp, it doesn't touch indepth *enough* on what the sephira and Manager went through to get there. If you ever pick it up - or even decide to watch a full playthrough of it - you'll find out things that will feel like a completely new look into these matters, even after completing Ruina.

@@millers402 You still chose the best game to start with in terms of that: LoR has the most input into fleshing out the City. As new PM player, you'll soon learn that games like to do something that rarely works: retroactive recontextuallizing. A lot of names, concepts and scenes will make sense much later on. As Roland knows much bout City, and Angela - about events from LobCo, they will exchange information organically - only when something in context is in need of explanation. But while game spoils LC's ending pretty down to the t, it still won't show you everything that the characters went through and felt. If you ever decide to visit it, you'll re-learn about it from different perspective, as if you discovered its story for the first time.
