Hello my animal loving friends! If you love all animals, animal rescue, training, zookeeping, animal adventures, and conservation, this is the channel for you! Through our UA-cam channel and Vlogs, we aim to show you the good, bad, and amazing life of exotic animal rescue, education, and wildlife conservation work.

FOX UPDATE | I put my two rescued foxes together
FOX UPDATE! In this video, you will see the two rescued foxes first and second day. This video starts right off where we ended with the evening the foxes were put together, the following morning, shifting and cleaning the foxes, then closing the sanctuary and checking on the foxes 1 more time.

Michael Jay is a red fox with a grey color who was rescued in August of 2023. He came from an extreme neglect case and was not cared for properly. He was locked in a room and only fed 1 time a WEEK!
Megan is a fur farm fox rescue from Save-a-fox Rescue. She lived in a metal bottom enclosure for her whole life until she came to SWC in August of 2024.

Ferrets are carried like that when they're babies, so they don't mind at all it doesn't hurt them, like with cats and dogs they have a bit of loose skin there for that purpose.

Why would you save invasive species like foxes that decimates and competes with native fauna?
These foxes were born and bred in captivity. Red foxes are also native to Florida so even if they were born wild, they would not be invasive and actually a top predator in our area.

I think they will be friends, if they don't fight or scream at each other it probably means they are fine together.

It was really nice to see the foxes meet each other for the first time. 🦊😊 I think that it went pretty well, but hopefully they'll start to get use to and like each other soon.

This is a good video. It's very easy to anthropomorphise animals, maybe canines especially, but we miss out on things if we assume we know what they're thinking and feeling 🤔
Great point about canines. Probably because so many people own dogs that they think they know foxes too but they are very different actually.

I am in awe of your patience and persistence! Thank you for taking such good care of this beautiful, sweet boy. This came up in my feed because I've been watching a lot of dog and cat grooming videos by Girl With The Dogs. However, I also watch and sponsor SAVE A FOX (Mikayla). I found her channel when a baby fox came right up to me in my yard (3 acres surrounded by woods). I didn't know what to do and all of the animal rescues in my area (Ontario Canada) were either not reachable or said they don't deal with wild foxes (due to rabies). I found her channel when I was googling and have been addicted ever since. Foxes are such amazing animals. *We actually saw the mother fox get the baby at sunset, so all was well. You're right about them not making food pets. Most of her foxes are pet surrenders or fur farm rescues. I always wondered why they didn't get groomed as she can pet and even hold many of them. You taught me their winter coats usually blow out on their own, so thank you for that.
