Mandy vs Kodaiko Ramen Sacramento
This was a really fun project to film and edit. Everything went smooth from start to finish mostly because:
1) Mandy and Billy were so easy to work with and they nailed the talking head parts;
2) Kodaiko was very accommodating on how I could occupy their space, which was extremely generous because this was filmed during business hours while guests were dining; and
3) I had a storyboard and script planned out. The idea popped up on Wednesday. Storyboarded on Thursday. I showed up around 3pm on Friday and we wrapped just past 5pm.
Gear breakdown:
Camera: Sony FX3
Lens: Tamron 28-75 f/2.8
Filter: PolarPro 1/8 mist
Key light: SmallRig RC 120B + SmallRig RA-D85 Parabolic Softbox
Hair light: Ulanzi VL120 (pocket LED)
Fill light: Reflector
Audio: Sennheiser MKE600 (shotgun on boom) plugged into a Rode Wireless Pro transmitter.

I filmed and edited this video for a San Francisco Bay Area vendor at the Head West Marketplace in Downtown Los Altos. This was a fun project to create because it involved minimal gear and it was very run and gun. Yeah, I'm satisfied with it. It's been convenient to use a zoom lens with a constant aperture. I also like the added "POWER Optical Image Stabilizer" since BMPCC doesn't have IBIS.
I cant stop watching this, I look like such a weirdo, I didnt know he was filming 😅 but I love this so much he was such a goober 😥💔 such a fun person to be around.
