So very tragic. 35 YO Cape Cod mom & 1 YO baby girl lost their lives. 3 YO son & dad are going to be OK. Obviously a leaf peeping vacation turned into a nightmare for them. IDK how the father got out to call 911 from outside the home, while his family remained trapped inside... ? God be with their loved ones for Comfort & Peace, that surpasses all our understanding. And May our Savior Jesus carry them through, for as long as they need.💔🙏 May mom be in His glory w/her baby girl, forevermore.💜

This dispatch call is heartbreaking and any parent that is aware their children are engaging in reckless behavior and do not take action is going to be the next knock at the door by the police but this time maybe it will not be so lucky and they can not reverse course. Life is so short. Yes let kids have fun but not risk their lives and others. The young man from Lloyd Ny, just few weeks ago was in a bad motorcycle accident and is still in the hospital. Thank God he is getting well but has a long road to recovery. Our police officers and first responders and community should NEVER be taunted, in danger or put in these positions. Stop making excuses and start making changes. Parents please parent, and this doesn't end when a kid turns 18, 21 etc it's for life. Do not drag your children through life but raise them right. This call breaks my heart to hear the despair in this officer's voice and all the while he is attending to the same people that are commiting crimes against him, "buddy" that they left behind on the road. All those kids and not one stood up and said knock it off, This is wrong? Seriously? This is a huge problem. 😳

I blame the parents. 🙄

Thank you Rob and others who spoke out for the safety of the men in blue as well as the residents of Wappingers Falls. Unfortunately so many officers arrest these scavengers and the judges hands are tied! You have to release them on an appearance ticket and then they never come back to court!! Change the laws!! Starting in Albany, NY. The Governor has done such a bad job when it comes to criminals. She keeps closing the prisons where these people should be!! Thanks again Rob and others for condemning these people.
