The Monolith (Monolithians) were stalkers who got too close to the center of the Zone. They were brainwashed and controlled by the Monolith because of it. After the events of Shadow of Chernobyl (SoC), some of them were freed. In Call of Pripyat (CoP), you can hear unfreed Monolithians in their prayer rooms questioning why the Monolith isn’t speaking to them anymore. So i guess slowly over time the Monolithan loses their faith in the Monolith, and became freed too. I guess what happened is they somehow revived it, so the Monolith is back in control of the ex-Monolithians again.

I have played off and on since year 1. Customs was always my least favorite map as at the start it was THE MAP for pvp, so i went to woods and become a bush noob, after some time collecting violets, i grew some balls and started learning every map. Reserve is map favorite overall map as it has good pvp, pve, loot, the quest are okay, good boss, raiders, extracts are all over the place. If i want to just rip and tear, im going labs
