Fantastic song ladies, hopefully it's not long until we get a 32 county Republic 🇮🇪🍀💚🤍🧡
Very difficult to perform when people are talking..Always loved this John Prine Song who lived in my native county for a while and sang in the local pub at sessions.
Long time since I heard this one..Beautiful..I go to singing sessions here in Dublin...Great craic..
Thanks.
Beautiful...Reminds me of a composotion of a friend of mine Johnny Duhan (who wrote The Voyage) The song is called After The Dream sung by Dolores Keane. Both your voices sound great.. Don't forget to visit Ireland sometime.
Thanks for your comments. As it happens, we are going to Donegal this Sunday for 6 days. Very much looking forward to singing a few songs there.
@@lizcrawf A coincidence..I'm also visiting Donegal for a week on Sunday..The southern part of the county..Killybegs. I haven't been back there for 30 years. I used to visit the county a lot back in the 80's as I am a fan also of Traditional Irish Music.
Wow. Coincidence indeed! Must tell Maggie. She is from Donegal and has many relatives and friends there. 🎶
@@lizcrawf I used to visit a beautiful tiny pub in Ardara....called "Nancy's"..Lovely spot woth music and song..
@@sentimentaloldmeWe have been there for a meal a few years ago. Maggie and I are just back from the theatre in Dundee where Cherish the Ladies were performing. Great concert! Kate Purcell was supporting them. She sang a couple of songs we do: Glenties and Isle of Hope, Isle of Tears. There were two Irish dancers there as well. One of them dances with Riverdance. A great night. Looking forward to our Donegal trip. 🎶
Love this song...R.I.P. John Prine
This is also popular at our singing sessions...Written by Phil Counter..
Great song...written by an English Man Ralf McTell...
The original air of this song came from the song "The Hot Ashfelt" sung by Luke Kelly..
Thanks for the extra info.
Lovely.
Love the sound of the flautist accompanying us. Would love to know who she is.

(Thank you for your lovely comment Angel. It is great to know we are being listened to in Mexico and by a young man! The same music can be enjoyed by young and old alike.) :)
Great stuff
Thank you Gary
