@@vaylekthegreen and 1 more i always let my thrall use my truncheon to knock people out since conc damage affect by their hidden melee damage multiplier (not streght nor agility) my boy kisthis 1-2 tap any npc {with tiger truncheon) since he is one of the npc that has the highest melee damage multiplier idk yours tho but i believe some named exiles npc already have such big melee damage modifier and bonus to that your truncheon will never lose its durability if its use by ur thrall and dont forget to loot those starmetal gear from mound deads enemy for ez early starmetal for making wep mods u put them in dismantle

Ahh gotcha. Yeah that makes sense. It would be cool though if you could mess with their schedule and position who sleeps where and stuff. But that's really cool though, I really like your idea, having certain thralls have their own buildings. I'll have to try and do that at some point. But I'm just waiting for my thralls to start disappearing and clipping through the perimeter wall or logging in and seeing them flopping around stuck on stuff, lol.

Nice! Yeah I really enjoyed the idea that they were going for with The Secret World. I might not have been the biggest fan of the overall aesthetics, but I really thought it was very unique! I played it for about a week when it came out, and it really did seem like Funcom had a really cool idea to nurture, since they really messed up Age of Conan at that time. Though reading your comment on how they completely butchered TSW really does align up with how I felt about AoC. Which AoC was and still is in my top 5 fav MMO's to this day. It definitely made me mad when they abandoned it and didn't fix any of the issues so they could flesh it out more. They really do have a hard time listening to player feedback that's for sure. Yeah, I agree with you. I definitely have a love/hate relationship with Funcom as well. Like they are really good at adapting IP's into video games like Conan for example (and possibly the Dune: Awakening game. If they don't screw that up, lol. I hope not.), and they have really good talent at making original IP's like: The Longest Journey, Anarchy, and the Secret World. But they somehow end up fumbling it for some reason. I watched Josh Strife Hayes review about TSW and I could tell it was not the same game I played when it came out. It really is a shame. And yes I feel that the "hate the artist, not the art" can sum them up perfectly, and other developers too.

Oh, I also forgot to mention that there is a game called: Once Human that came out not too long ago, that made me instantly think of The Secret World. I'm still iffy on the whole games premise, like how they handle wipes and seasonal things, and it still feels pretty janky, but it definitely has promise if they don't abandon it for in app purchases. So maybe that might scratch that Secret World itch for you.

Like everything has to look just right and intricate, even though they don't have to be. lol, once on my G-portal server I made a legit village with a tavern and everything with a town crier and thralls hanging around like a living space. Kinda made me sad when that was deleted. Yeah I agree about the self-fulling prophecy thing. It really does happen more times than not, lol. Indeed! I get way too attached to my thralls as well, and I do notice that it effects the way I play as well. I was surprised and happy when I saw that they included that down but not out system. Because there were times I would lose thralls for stupid reasons sometimes, haha. And thank you! My palms were sweating when I was fighting that thing, lol.

You can also loot the Mask of the Witch Doctor which is fairly common in the Darfari camps around the desert north of the Summoning Place. It works as a sandstorm mask and costs no knowledge points to unlock.

Yeah, I'm aware. I just did that for entertainment purposes. Just been using the potions to get through the storm since they are easy to make. but I've put crafting the mask off for awhile now. It's about time I made it.

I've unlocked the prying bar from the Tinkerer Journey. I've never used it though, so I can't verify if it reduces durability on armor.

So I looked at the wiki, and it definitely reduces the durability of the armor. It says severely, actually 😭. So looks like I'll skip on that, lol.

Yeah, I used it once and decided not to use it again. I wanna’ say it halved the durability or something? I felt like making new armor was a better choice.

Oh, Nice! What class did you play in Age of Conan? I've never gotten to read the Conan comics myself, but I did recently get the complete chronicles of Conan book. @@vaylekthegreen My main in Age of Conan was a Necromancer. I always liked running around with a horde of undead to fight for me. I read the complete works of Robert E. Howard many years ago. In addition to Conan he wrote some other great stories about Solomon Kane, Kull of Atlantis, Bran Mak Morn and El Borak.

Nice! Yeah I always wanted to try out the Necro. They were pretty tough in the pvp battlegrounds. I played around a little with the Demonologist, but my main was the Dark Templar before I switched over to Barbarian. The Herald of Xotli was another favorite. I'll have to look into those other stories he wrote they all sound really interesting!

I know Dalensia has a spot in the burial mounds that she can spawn in, or you can grab her randomly from those Obulus coins, but the berserker, if I remember correctly, can spawn anywhere up in the north? I'll definitely give them that weapon. Thanks for the info!

@vaylekthegreen you can get her from the caravan for sure amongst a few other fighters that are well worth it. If you have enough coins to pick up a fighter, they're well worth having.

Ah, indeed! Thank you for sharing that! I am planning on grabbing Dalinsia at some point, which If I remember correctly, you can randomly get her from the bounty hunters after exchanging those obulus coins. Along with the Cimmerian berserker, I'm also thinking about grabbing a Relic Hunter Treasure Seeker as well.

Oh, nice! Yeah, I wasn't really sure how the tavern system worked. I kind of thought you would just randomly find one in a camp somewhere. But that's really cool! It makes doing the new purges worthwhile. I also wonder if the boss base is that huge fortress-type building in the safari area with the elephants and rhinos. But thanks for the tip! I'll definitely have to try out the new purges at some point.

@vaylekthegreen @vaylekthegreen the base in the desert it al-Meraya. That's more of a multi-player raid. I wouldn't recommend it because it spawns endless enemies at you, unless you want to take it on with a group of people. So when you build your purge base, you need to set up a treasure coffer to put your money and treasure in. There are levels to the purge ranging from 1 to 10, and the more money and treasure you put in will increase the purge level. Once you proclaim your wealth, it will trigger the purge. The enemy will spring up a base near you right after you trigger it, so you'd have to keep a look out where they set it up. I would recommend looking up purge base videos before starting a purge so you know what to expect.

That's a really good point. I think for the cave death, my thought process was that it wasn't too far from the base, so getting there wouldn't have been too bad. For the Safari Land death, however, I have no excuse for that one other than being a dum dum, lol 😅. I'll definitely bring some more beds next time. For Greyhorn, I'm not entirely sure. I've never tried that before. I would think he would be too big for the cave, though I could be wrong. I wouldn't be surprised if you could bring a horse in there, though. I may have to test that out next time!

Yeah, I still think that was a goofy decision to change it. Maybe they'll revert the change in a future update? One can hope, lol.

Indeed! That's a good question. It would make a bit more sense, I think, if they designed it so that you could hang them on the ceiling, like the hanging braziers in the game.
