What a wonderful story. 🫶🏻
One of the best scenes ever…glad it was replayed several times.
I love stephen toblowsky he actually understands what groundhog day
What a great storyteller!! Sooooo much fun to listen to and watch! “I’m gonna open up a sandwich shop!”😂😂😂
The best storyteller!
How ironic Andy McDowell…using the very same gender she intends this guy to ward off. The female hypocrisy is unsurpassed 😂also the same kinda broad that would metoo a guy for absolutely no reason
He’s a Doozie!
BTW: don't worry about Kurt Fuller. He's done just fine, probably as many or more roles as Stephen Toblowsky. It says he has a $3 million net worth compared to $4 million for Stephen; not much difference.
I've played your scene will Bill on UA-cam for my kids probably no less than two dozen times over their lives. You made that character so Real!
ua-cam.com/video/vIhKx66YnEA/v-deo.html
I cannot picture Kurt Fuller as Ned Ryerson. He's almost the polar opposite of that character. Especially during that period when he was known for roles like No Holds Barred and Ghostbusters II. If Ramis was gonna write any role for him in Groundhog Day, Larry the cameraman would've made more sense. Chris Elliott was still a better choice, but I could at least see Fuller as that character.
Ned Ryerson spin-off asap
RIP Stephen
There could only have been one actor to nail needle nose ned. I'm so happy it was him. He's the reason I watch it.😊
BING!!!
Happy birthday stephen from italian boy live in rome
Phil? Phil?
Well hes a great actor then, coz this guy is def not obnoxious.
i WAS THERE = B0YS 0NLY = N0 GIRLS AL0UD
Bless Kurt, but casting absoLUTEly got this one right. Toblowsky was sooooo f&ck$ng annoying in that movie, which means he was spot on for that role.👌🏾
He’s SRV. Death faker.
Incidentally, Ned pops into my head every single time I think of the Bing search engine.
Bing AGAIN!!!!
You're just sharp as a tac, today!!
Bing again!
Happy Chapman
Isn't that Sammy Jenkis??
I have missed you So much... I don't know what you have planned today... but can you call in sick? (Runs away hiding erection) genius!
The Audition for Ned Ryreson... haha
Bing
i once almost bumped into bill murray, physically. we were both in a hurry to cross an intersection in chicago. he was wearing a plaid suit that was pinkish in color overall. i stopped just in the nick of time to avoid a collision, and waved him on with wide eyes. i SO wanted to say the reyerson line from goundhog day and give him a big hug.. but didn't. perhaps i should have. :P
Shoulda woulda coulda I feel you!
Excellent!
I have to image that every time Tobolowsky is in an audition waiting room, Fuller is right there next to him.
I reject everything you do.
That part was made for you in heaven, I've watched it over and over and never have enough.
Needle Nose Ned! Legend.
How many times has Stephen heard, "Bing! Ryerson! Ned Ryerson!" on the street. Perfect casting. I was an insurance agent for many years and later taught those going for their licenses. In tips on selling I'd refer to Ned Ryerson and say, "Don't be that guy!"
I had a friend who sold insurance the night I met him in a bar in San Francisco when he told me what he did for a living I said without skipping a beat ... Phil... Phil... Phil Conners it's Ned! Ned Ryreson... he didn't know what I was referring to... watched the movie a few days later and felt offended like I was cutting him down. Oh well. That's the new generation for you.
He is an intelligent man and an intelligent actor.
Very pleased this cropped up in my recommended!
BING!
Binggg again!
Boy are milking that bit part for all it’s worth
Always easy to spot the simp
I went to Punxsutawney for Groundhog Day 2007 and he's pretty accurate. During the pre-groundhog hours, it's pretty festive. They play music, sell ice cold soft pretzels, and fired off T-shirt cannons.
6:21 What he doesn't say is Kurt went through all of Phil's reactions during the movie. The get away from me, the punch him in the face, and since that ended with a hug that's what he did.
Good story…I thoroughly enjoyed it! Thx Ned! 😉
2:54 Never trust a catastrophe
I had to look up Kurt Fuller now and I recognized him and it turns out he's had a great career too. But Stephen's Ned Ryerson's character was spot on that nobody could have done a better job at playing that nerd.
Yeah, I recognise him as the mayor's aide, Hardemeyer, in 'Ghostbusters II'.
"Anyhoo..." 😊
When you're such a good actor that you end up stealing a part that was written for another actor lol
Such an awesome and versatile actor.
Kurt Fuller played Colonel Klink as I remember
that was Werner Klemprer
Not even close, how do you confuse those two? Cos theyre both bald? But Hogans Heroes was the 1960s ffs
Happy birthday stephen for your wonderful 70 years and bring to an infinity to happiness and serenity from italian boy live in rome
