What's emotionally unavailable mean?

I had to learn that the relationship had become a part of my "identity"...that was a enlightening moment. Mindfulness helped. There was a meditation workbook called 30 Days to Overcome a Toxic Relationship by Harper Daniels that helped a lot to ground myself. If anyone is struggling in a toxic relationship, it's ok to be afraid to leave, go slow...use it as a great opportunity to learn about yourself :)

Very true. People fall out of our lives sometimes and its ok. We wish them the best, we cut cords from place of love and continue with our journey. I also want to highlight that for those who are low vibrational(energy vampires) and cant rid off from our lives like family members or a client or a co workers are also great opportunities for us to learn and grow. They help us Learn how to come into our power.. Notice their low vibrational energy and feel their energy but not necessarily Match it 😊 Very helpful video Jenna! She did nothing near the best she could do for anyone but herself well into my adulthood. It never changed/she never matured. Some people are like that and really aren't responsible enough to have children.

Narcissist is a very strong word and should be reserved for those who truly deserve the title. Not everyone who doesn’t meet your emotional needs is a narcissist. It could very well just be the way they were raised. You can’t change your behavior if you don’t know that you are doing anything wrong. I’m a 33yo mother of very young children. And I try and correct all of the things in my parenting that I feel like my parents did wrong but I’m sure there will be something that my kids feel like I did wrong too. My mother wasn’t there for me emotionally but I know she meant well and did the best that she could with what she knew how to do. Just because someone didn’t act exactly as we personally needed them too does not make that person a narcissist. Cut your parents some slack. It was a different time that they were raised.

I cringed when you said " brother russel " (charles taze russel). Stop saying that please! I know this sounds not right but these people are not your brothers & sisters in Christ. They cant be as their bible states Jesus is (a) God. They are lost and you should love them as you love yourself and its time to witness to them with help from the Holy Spirit to wake from what they're in to see the True Light of the world, Jesus, and accept him as their saviour and the only way to GOD the Father.

Im glad you got out of it. My parents got divorced when i was 7, mom got out of it and later in life died knowing they were a cult. Dad died while still being a jw. I hope Jesus still recieved him & GOD had mercy on him.
