🔥🔥🔥🔥 thank u bro buying one soon
Why this UA-cam channel didn't give sub? For this channel at least 50k already
Thank you for the useful tips :)
Replace my black magic 6K for this camera never thought I would do this lol
A fine decision! You won't regret it :)
Worth watching a number of times 👌🏆👍
Thank you! I'm glad you found it useful. Hope to see you back again.

For videography, lumix g7 or sony A6000?
Not familiar with the G7 unfortunately but I'd be weary of the limited stabilization the A6000 has for video. Also consider it only does 1080p. So, ultimately a tough question to answer without more knowledge on your use case.
Not to be mean, I would try to talk faster. A little too slow for me.
Thanks for the feedback 😉
I’ve always had a passion for photography despite shooting on my phone and after looking at countless videos on this particular camera, I’m thinking about getting it. Thanks for this informative video!
Do it! I've had mine since release in 2014 and it's been great. The kit lenses can be hit and miss, but if you invest in a great lens to go with it you'll be good to go.
glad I could help! I'm sure it will make a great introduction to the world of mirrorless cameras for you!
@@nabeelkasim I ended up getting it and I love it!
@@CharlesLockyer yeah I ended up getting one, I found a really good deal with both kit lenses (18-50 and 55-210) and also ended up getting the 50mm f/1.8 and the nifty fifty is definitely my favorite of the three!
Hello! I switched to the FX30 from my a6600. I need help with 2 things: the image on the external monitor is now cropped in so the image doesn't fill the screen. I have tried everything settings wise. Any suggestions? I shoot vertical, and the the image export is a vertical in a horizontal. Anything I can do differently?
Do you mean the flip out screen?
awesome video. thank you for sharing your experience with the sony a6000. i got my a6000 about a month ago and its so fun to use. however i plan on getting a better lens soon. kit lens is okay to start with but my next purchase would be a sigma 30mm 1.4 prime lens.
So awesome to hear that! Hope you're enjoying it. Would highly recommend a lens upgrade from the kit. AlWAYS
Hi i have a6000 + 16-50mm but i want to buy the sony 55-210 mm for sports photgraphy and some portraits is thats good ? Or i change the camera and save the lens money
Save your money and buy a faster and sharper lens for sports photography. I didn’t find the 55-210 to be super sharp. I prefer constant aperture too. If you plan to buy a full frame. Try to go for one of the 70-200s which will give you an equivalent of 140-300 on your a6000 and will crop in on the sharpest parts of the lens.
if you get 55-210mm as a pack like i did it is ok, but i would save and get a fixed AP. if you shoot at 210 you can only do f6.3
Which gimbal would you use for a run? I know you said this one was a bit heavy. Thanks for the info!
DJI has made some strides in making their mobile gimbals smaller and lighter. You can checkout the newer versions of these gimbals but iPhone 15 pro has implemented active stabilisation which is perfect for sunny outdoor activities without a gimbal!
I think the sony nex-6 would be a more realistic option for being who can't afford the 400+ tbh.. which is what I've got
Could also be a great option but consider The MP is much lower and you likely would not be able to do ANY video on that.
Great Video! I'm currently using the GH5 and looking to upgrade to a new full-frame camera. I'm torn between the S5iix and the FX3. Do you think the extra cost for the FX3 is worth it? I’ve watched several footage videos from both cameras on UA-cam, especially in the music video genre, and I find Sony’s look much more modern and cinematic.
I’m a big fan of Sony. Consider the FX3 was used to film the creator, a major Hollywood film. So, it’s a highly capable camera. Not sure about the S5iix. Let me know what you decide to go with! In any case that new camera feel is going to be so good. ☺️
Would be worth it as vintage feel like 3rd camera. I love using a 24 GM on my 6100 fits its better than the FF. Love the form factor. My only OSS lens FF is the 90 G macro turning it to 135 mm range in 24 MP. For stills I love using the 55 Zeiss no OSS fits it perfectly. The 35 zeiss also is great but aside from zeiss pop the kitlens is smaller and more reach although slower bit 3.5 on 16 mm vs 35 2.8 .
the form factor is to die for! Nice to get the extra range out of those already fantastic lenses too
I think it depends on what your photography goals are. It's still way more than what most people who would buy it will ever need. But since you can get one for pretty cheap these days... why not?
This is true, in a lot of cases your iPhone X will outperform any combination of lens plus a6000. But if you are trying to get more into the world of mirrorless interchangeable lens photography, it’s a good start!
Whats The microphone your using
It’s a rode video mic go ii
People who don’t have money buy this lol. Horrible rolling shutter and apsc makes it just a no go for anything professional
Many professionals use apsc
Let's agree to disagree 🤣
Get out of your bubble!
Arri Alexa is a super 35 as well….
said nobody...
Great video! Just a little constructive criticism: I would talk a bit faster to keep the watcher engaged.
Thanks! Appreciate the tip. Hope to see you back in the next one :)
Just watch it at 2x speed bro. Easy peasy.
Well other than it being apsc and only filming in 16:9, so anamorphic is out unless your cool with losing a bunch of width.
Not true? Sirui makes a pretty good set of anamorphic apsc cinema lenses. Haven’t tried yet but I’d love to try em out one day
i don’t know much, but fx-30 isn’t even full frame. is there any professional who would use apsc?
Yes, Most feature movies in Hollywood are filmed in S35 / apsc .
plenty of professionals use 16mm film which is even smaller
There are many reasons professionals choose crop sensors over full frame
Many many many more movies are filmed with Super35 than ‘full frame’ sensors! The newest Arri 35 camera- prices starting around $80,000 - is Super35. So yes- many Academy Award winning cinematographers use zaps-c!
@@nabeelkasim which are?
I just got this and I am loving it!
Nice! What are you shooting with it?
@@nabeelkasim Social Media content
How are pictures on it, does it work well for photography?
@@Jay_so_fly01 So it is a video camera. It does take photos that are pretty good, but if you are looking for a photo camera, get something else. For this camera, video is first, and photo second. But the photos are pretty good and if you just want some bts photos are something, this works.
Nice work
Thanks, dud3 nice profile picture!
I bought one Last month for 190 usd i guess it's a great deal. Awesome camera I'm planning to upgrade the lens. BTW the background music is too high than ur voice u need to lower that i mean it's too clumsy
Excited for you! Hope to hear how it goes for you. Lmk if you have any questions :) Thanks for the comments.
how are you?, you uploaded awesome trip -farewell. )

I also got the AE-1 program handed down from my father who recently passed away.
great review thanks!
Glad you liked it! Hope you come back for more :)

You shouldn't drink unfiltered water from a creek or lake due to liver flukes carried by moose and giardia.
Pro tip indeed. I used a sawyer squeeze filter to purify all the water I drank plus a two part purifying mix. Definitely worth the extra steps
I love the film cameras better than the digital. But that is just a sign of the times. I develop my own film so I go out and shoot, then come home and develop. Just feels more intune with the art. That is just an opinion.
Agreed! I try to shoot on film every once in a while to not lose the art.
My boss recently got me hooked on film after buying an ae-1 from him for cheap. He's developing my film for me with his home kit while I slowly put together a kit of my own. Just got my first roll of film back a week or so ago and I have to say I'm hooked. Turned out much better then I was expecting.
Nice video. I am hoping to hike Isle Royale next year. What time of the year did you go?
Awesome! I went around mid July :) it was fantastic. Hmu if you want to discuss your trip plan :)
My three sons and I are about to do a 7-night backpack. Mid-August 2023. Glad you made this video. I'll be sure to bring some deet. Camp shoes/sandals to let feet have more of a chance to dry out. Definitely looked to be up against some elements. Prep phase now, trying to get things together on what all to bring.
sick! i’m asking for an a-1 for my birthday
thanks for this! I was looking for something to help me film my running content with my phone. I was scared that the phone might fall off the gimbal but it seems to be pretty stable
Did you end up getting it? What do you think?
Great loop!
Thank you, my friend!
I hear a shutter squeal
You’re right! It’s an old camera and could use some lube on the shutter gears
Ngl it sounds pretty cool. Reminds me of 007 Golden Eye lol

Great video. Really nicely composed shots. Very impressive that you were able to make that edit just on the iPhone. Also, I stayed in that hostel before!
Haha no way! It’s in a prime location. Thanks, it was a fun little challenge.
Nice editing!

Nabeel, what's wrong with your finger nail?

Hell yeah volunteering, hell no torn acl
Hah thanks Garrett!
Wow! You look a lot like me when I was in my 20's. Except, I'm of Mexican decent (75% European, 20% Native American, 3% Middle East, and 2% West African). When I lived in Burbank, CA, people there believed I was Armenian. Seeing you, I see now why they thought so. We really do look alike!
😝 indeed. We’ve got the genes
Great video with nice images, good editing & likable narration. Doing an 18 mile hike in a day is impressive, especially with the broken boardwalks in swampy areas. Seeing moose, loons and a wolf track is a thrill, and wild blueberries are the best! Some music is ok, but constantly can be distracting. Can't go wrong with natural sound: lapping waves, forest sounds, loons, etc. End kinda broke off.
Definitely was a wild ride! Thanks so much for your feedback :)
Think I could get some joints in to smoke before bedtime?
Do I just contact the Isle Royale national park service to get a hiking permit? I want to do an accompanied hike with 3 friends. Please reply and give me some information. Thanks :)
You can get your permit when you arrive to the island. The park ranger will confirm your route and where you plan to be sleeping each night. The permit comes in the form of a tag that you will attach to your backpack and tent throughout your journey
