One or two additional things you didn't mention are the greenstalk plant supports and the frost insect protection covers. I have 3 garden tower 2's and this year we've planted 1 with strawberries that we're trying to keep alive all winter (St. Louis area - zone 7a now). I think we're going to try using the greenstalk protection on our garden towers. But the plant supports are also interesting. One year I grew a lot of peppers in them and they plants stuck you and really could have used something like the greenstalk plant supports.

Just put wooden skewers into the pots and use plant ties or something to hold them to them. As for the cold I’d just drap the whole thing with a cloth. Put a tomatoe cage type halo ring at the top and drap it over it so it doesn’t touch the plants.

I have both systems. I have worms in my GreenStalk as well. They get in there from my compost and worm castings. If you give them something to eat the worms are perfectly happy. I also have worms thriving in all my grow bags. I live in a warm climate so my Garden Tower does not shut down during the year. I had some perennial flowers planted in the top. Won't do that again. The roots from the flowers totally took over the tower and extended all the way to the bottom. Just annuals for me from now on. 😊

Great comparison. I have heard that the Garden Tower has soil compacting issues towards the bottom and the water doesn't distribute well. Did you experience this?

Hello, I was wondering if you have come across any challenges growing plants that are incompatible with one another in the garden tower 2 since it shares soil?
