My Take: A great kids shoe. Several flaws detract from a gorgeous design and limitless color ways. Kids will outgrow these before the issue start to become issues. :-)
Pros:
AMAZING TRACTION!
Insane number of color ways
Incredible lace structure with full lockdown capabilities
Stiffer midsole will allow for more on-court feel
Very affordable
Cons:
What's with he toe design? Who thought that was a good idea???
Amazing mesh has zero durability and will wear through quickly
Flex points will show wear very quickly.
Nike's Statement:
Luka Doncic has a one-of-a-kind playing style: quick and controlled with stellar court vision. Studying his game just as closely as Doncic eyes defenders, the Jordan team updated his signature shoe with features and design to best answer his needs on the court. The result: the Luka 2.
Throughout the collaborative design process, the Jordan team analyzed Doncic’s multi-directional play. Since he’s known for his step-backs, side steps and momentum-breaking pauses, the sneaker reflects the need for responsive security.
To help optimize players’ movements, designers combined Formula 23 foam - which provides a lightweight, responsive ride and helps guide players’ feet during side-to-side movement - with the IsoPlate, a wrapped foot frame that keeps feet secure during multi-directional movements.
In order to support forefoot push-off for passes and shots, the features have been combined with a wedge of Cushlon 3.0 foam to help keep the foot at a proper banking angle, the ideal angle for explosive steps.
The midsole of the Jordan Luka 2 sneaker is composed of four parts. The direct underfoot portion houses Formula 23 foam for soft landings, surrounded by a firm foam carrier. Meanwhile, a soft foam wedge on the inner side of the shoe helps the foot sit at a proper angle for efficiently pushing off the court. To support quick lateral movements that Doncic is known for, the raised sidewall featuring an IsoPlate will help to keep players balanced and upright.

Dope. So cool to see them bring back classic Air Max's. Going to have to get a couple in different colorways. How is the performance when it comes to running?
One word, amazing. I'm 6'5" 260lbs w/size 13 and they are perfect for me. I've put around 50 miles on mine so far, the ones in the video, and they've held up great! So far no break down or wear issues. the 50 miles is a combination of refereeing summer hoops and road running. Thank you for your question.

Think the price will go up?
No. I think that they'll follow the trend of the Girl Dad's and hold around 25% over retail. Nike has plans to drop a bunch of Kobe's over the next 12 months and that will push down values. Plus, most of these shoes are "lookers" and not "performers." Just my 2 cents.

Hello man great video ! I got a question if the plastic sole pop can it be fixed ?
Sorry for the delay, just got home after a family vacation. There are numerous remedies online for fixing a flattened air sole. I've been researching them myself but haven't found a good solution for an older pair of Air Maxes that I have. Most of the solutions seem to be geared toward the smaller bubble popping, not the full length sole. If you find a solution that you're happy with, I'd love it if you shared. If I do, I'll post another video of me performing it.

Sorry for the delay, just came back from a family vacation...No, these only come in one size. both my son and I have wide feet and these have an amazing fit! With any hard exercise, your feet will swell a little. Even after a 6 mile run, these were very supportive and comfortable.
Are they water/rain proof?
@@Nonchalant_Ninja this model is not. Nike will normally put Gore-Tex after the sneaker name to indicated is waterproof or water resistant.

@@tacotom3492 perhaps but my personal experience is otherwise. 25+ miles of officiating and running and I fell they're great.
@@tacotom3492 wore them for vacation in europe doing 15K steps a day, and they did the job!

My favourites are the 2015, with the 2013 very close 2nd place. I love the triple Black. Real stealth.
