I just don't like that "consistent with your ethnic background" observation. I get that it's necessary for the exam... but like... Why? LOL love the video, but I've heard that observation before so, I had to mention it.
Not a bad video, but next time try leaving the camera on a tripod instead of having someone holding it. I was getting motion sickness trying to watch this.
She’s needs to raise the bed at her working level to avoid back injury let the environment work for you not the other way nice video need to raise the bed
Her target audience is her evaluator, who is better versed than her in the terminology and sequence, and who also has to evaluate dozens of other students’ videos and so probably appreciates fast pacing.
"Her skin is consistent with her ethnic background"? How disgustingly racist. Ever heard of mixed race? And what if I choose not to dress "appropriately for the weather?" will I go to jail? Just WTF.
+Thomas Vleminckx It's important because if her skin is NOT consistent, there could be a problem, like albinism. Some diseases are more prevalentand/or more noticable in people with darker skin. . Dressing appropriately for the weather is an important clue about how the person perceives temperature. If they're fevered and don't realize it, you might see someone in less clothes than you'd expect for a cold day, for instance. Or they may have overdressed for a warm day which could be a factor in experiencing heat exhaustion. They're both simply observations to help with a complete background. Chill.
I just don't understand how that's racist? If she is African American, but has white skin would you not agree that it may be a skin condition? Or vice versa. If you are so terribly uncomfortable with talking about race and skin color that it could affect your health then I am sorry for you.
Kassidy Roe Classifying people again, are we? So, you think humans are either "white" or "african american" (politically correct way of saying "black")? Again, what about mixed race? Why are YOU (yes, YOU, not me) so uncomfortable about the fact "race" is a fluid thing, and not black/white? Because you're a filthy racist, that's why.
+Thomas Vleminckx It's not racist. Racist is saying that she is inferior based on her ethnic background. It isn't derogatory in any way to her to say that her skin is consistent with her ethnic background.
very helpful overall and thorough! Although, it didn't look like the cardiac and lung exams were not performed correctly. The steth wasn't on the R side and she needs to be listening for 4 beats in each spot. Also, the lung sounds need to be listened to in each spot for a complete inhale/exhale cycle via mouth.
Nice stomach
I will have a physical exam next year 2024 on May 7th 2024 after Star Wars day May the force be with you
Was the camera person on drugs?
Other than the small constant earthquake, very nice.

We all know the kidneys are not in the middle of your upper back... she will learn ...be nice
She didn't apologized for her sandwich breath 😢

She’s trying to hard needs to slow it down a bit oh and when checking the carotid it’s one side at a time but overall good video..
What does this cost and does work medical or health care cover anything?
It's so cute how she's unsure and looks at the camera for clarification. Lol but good job!
They used the same camera man in the Jason Bourne movies.

Slow down
The other nose
She messed up on the confrontation test. You're suppose to cover your left eye when the patient covers their right eye and vice versa.
Boznian95 well I mean that's the point of her training, Imo she did pretty good except for the mistake you mentioned and seeming to forget the steps.
Well I assume she was graded on this video so she wanted to do everything right. Also pointing it out to people that are learning from this video.
nurse is beautiful:)
The other girls stomach is beautiful

She never braced when examining the nose or ears, and need to wear gloves when touching the face
Training for physical assessment Olympics. I'm exhausted.
I am not convinced. I want to exam her myself. Send her to me for her assessment))

She speaks and works very fast. Not easy to understand for a non native speaker.
