Milling Asphalt in North Wilkesboro NC | Carl Rose and Maymead

We've been hard at work in North Wilkesboro resurfacing and strengthening several lanes at the Lowes Distribution center. This project required milling out 18 inches of asphalt and base material followed by a new rock base and then asphalt surface.

He once wrestled a bobcat, he'd like to be able to type faster and if he could be on any TV show it would be The Bachelor. Sean Mackey came to Maymead 38 years ago at just 18 years of age. His humor and enthusiasm for what we do is contagious and we are beyond grateful for his decades of service.

I wish you'd take pictures of the SE Dowell old quarry down the road where the mountain spring water filled the hole. I'm in Ohio fighting cancer so traveling is out of the question
In the winter when nthe asphalt and concrete went down I got farmed out to the rock crusher. Job security and this was hammering out mixer tubs with a pavement breaker back in nthe day too.
