This wicked and fallen world says that healing is not possible. The world and satan want you to give into your sinful desires. Christ calls us to be men of honor and die to ourselves. He calls us to walk down the healing road with Him. Surrender your sinful desires to Christ and begin the healing journey. Ask Him to be LORD AND SAVIOR of your life. Ask Him to bring healing into your heart. Ask ...

    Being gay doesn't ruin your relationships with straight men any more than being straight ruins your relationships with gay people. The problem isn't gay or straight. It's not knowing how to build relationships. Platonic or not.

    As a bisexual I must say breaking gender rolls has been my favorite part of queer relationships. It is amazing to be loved but also to give love. To desire and to be desired and (tho I don’t 100% agree with the wording) to be saved and to save. I feel that I have an equal partner and tho this is possible in all relationships ofc, being queer gives us extra room I feel like. Sometimes it makes me sad to see other queers, like you said, feel like they Have to continue these gender rolls and be miserable in them. I as a woman was not made to take 100% of the man’s role and perhaps not even of the woman’s role, but i don’t have to. We can split and let it flow naturally

    I'm so glad you preached that. Though, the entertainment industry never bothered with the idea of an ex-gay trope in fictional characters, aside from the movie Audacity (2015). Because that's considered anathema to our country's current ethos and status quo.

    I was sort of the opposte type of guy from my Dad as well, but I learned later in life that I had a lot in common in terms of talents&temperament with HIS father (my paternal grandfather), who unfortunately had died before I was 2 years old and of whom I have no memories. That could have made a huge difference (in terms of having a connection with a masculine adult) if he had lived.

    There are a lot of gay guys who didn't grow up hanging out primarily with the girls. I was short and skinny and stereotyped as effeminate but that didn't mean that girls wanted me to hang out with them. I got bullied by *some* boys but the median boy did not feel obligated to denigrate me or my masculinity because I was obviously not any threat. There are different kinds of boys. You surely weren't being bullied by the specific subset of guys you were trying to connect with.

    When I was saved the Lord took the huge taste I had away from all alcohol. It was a miracle that He took the desire away. He did the same thing with porn. I am 74 and had a disastrous marriage and I divorced because she was not a believer plus I had married a divorced woman. I have been single 40 years and sometimes like 3 times a month I struggle with masturbation. I repent all of those times and I hate it. Anyway pray for me I get total victory over this. God Bless you all

    Interesting how Torah actually describes forbidden relationships because those are part of our animal soul which is why they feel "natural" or innate. But our Father Creator made us with a G-dly soul, so we can listen ( Shema) and hear G-d if only we silent our distracting feelings and thoughts. G-d is everywhere. There is nowhere where He is not. Ergo, He is in all of us, if only we listen for His Voice. This is personal. The man the Greeks caĺled Jesus was maybe called Yehoshua / Joshua. He was a Perushim/ Pharisee, a Torah observant man. He quoted the Oral Torah when he said the summary of the Torah is to love our Father G-d with all our ❤️,🧠&💪/💰. Love others as self and do ( not) do to others what you ( do not) want done to you. His quote missed out Rabbi Hillel's words that the rest of Torah is commentary GO & LEARN. Jesus also is quoted to say to worship and pray to our Father only, not any created being, which includes Jesus. He said to a young man to keep all Torah, which includes that no man can die for anothers sins. Maybe that is why Christianity is focussed on pagan ideas of Torah and not the actual Torah itself. Paul was a Roman assimilated Jew. So his words contradict Jesus and Torah. Jews do not seek others to "convert" to Torah, just encourage to live life according to it. Torah Judaism is focussed on relationship with our Father, not any of His sons and what we do is personal to each person whether Jew or another nation under G-d. Christianity is a Romano Greek view of Torah. For me it was a stepping stone toward listening to my Father's voice about the extreme damage caused by my earthly father, by sexusl, physical and emotional abuse. I now see how for me, turning to my heavenly Father, rather than one of His sons, as I tried for 15 years struggling with rejection manifested in many ways including unwanted SSA. Now I see those ferlings as natural need for male bonding and enjoy feeling attracted to people, to the LIFE CHAI in them from G-d, instead of fear that it must be sexual. Hashem gave us a G-dly soul to CHOOSE who and what we listen to and how we act. Satan only does what our Creator allows. Hadhem gives us no more than we can handle in life. The yetzer haRa helps us to strengthen our resolve to act on our yetzer haTov, the good Hashem made us to do. Now I am free to feel OSA without fear attraction to women results in abuse. I need not feel victim but thrive as an empathetic man, not afraid of feelings like many who seek to compare with other men about how "manly" they are. Our Father made us unique to be the man or woman with a unique role in life. G-d bless you in your journey Hashem has for you.

    Being transgender has nothing to do with homosexuality. Olympian Bruce Jenner is still attracted to women despite feeling like a woman. He went through 3 marriages to women, but it did not change how he felt. Being transgender is not about sexual brokeness.

  • @kirkmarusak7800
    @kirkmarusak7800 5 місяців тому

    Your sexual orientation is not learned behavior. It is about what sex you are attracted to, and it is not about engaging in sex. There are numerous gay men who are celibate for a variety of reasons. Methodist Pastor Frank Schaefer of Lebanon. Pennsylvania, did not expose or teach his 3 gay children to become gay men and lesbians. Yet, as a teenager, his gay son did not swing his arms while walking. His lesbian daughter, also a teenager, walked like a "truck driver." Pastor Schaefer wrote a book about his family. Nobody teaches a boy to act effeminate or teaches a girl to act masculine. Becoming a religious Christian does not make a gay man "heterosexual. Gay people are born that way. Just ask the U S. Institute of Health. You cannot teach a boy to have a female voice. If you are primarily more attracted to men, you are still gay.

    It is so great that you found masculine men, who are faithful, who believe in god and they help you to grow in your whole personality and masculinity. Some weeks ago I joined a spiritual gay men facebook group. We all have a deep belief in Jesus, but there comes mostly only a "hey", "thank you" or a smiley if you commend a contribution or picture, but nothing deeper. Maybe I must wait a little bit to find the right platonic friends, who belief in God and have also interest to share our life experiences, to laugh, to speak about serious topic... I hope so🙏 All the best my friend, I am so proud of you👍🙏

  • @aloiskneissl2639
    @aloiskneissl2639 5 місяців тому

    Thank you very much for sharing your experience🙏 I knew all the feelngs of insecurities and admired maculine men, who were older than I. Now I look myself masculine (beard and a little bit muscles) and I am more confident now. But I know the time where I was small and thin and I had attraction to men, but I could not show this. This was a enorm tension for me and especially straight men reacted nervous and unsecure because they felt my inner conflict. When I told them that I have a girl friend (which was a lie) they reacted relaxed tapped me on my shoulder than we drank a coffee or beer and we were the best friends. So I learned that hiding my real nature makes it easier to survive in the society. In the meantime I made some experiences with men and had friendships, but now many of my friends died in AIDS, Hep C or Cancer. So I dont life an active sexual life anymore because I survived and I want to live longer in a healthy state. The whole hormon pressure is now away from me and I prefer platonic friendships. In my own experience it is not so easy to have a platonic friendship to gay men. Most of them want sex and they have not interest in speaking, discussion and common activities. So 90% of my social contacts are women. It is ok and fine, but to have a friendship with a trustworthy man would be very nice. THANK YOU very much, you are great and amazing, I whish you all the best and stay healthy👍

    I couldnt hear to the end, I'm sorry, I really respect your point of view, but I must say I'm deeply disagree with you. At first I heard about your struggle and longing to deep meaningful friendships with men, and I said to myself how sympathize I am, and how adorable and beautiful you are, and how much I would like you to be my best male friend. And then came the analysis, and I want to tell you this. I am a masculine tall, shoulders wide man. I never gravitated towards femininity, I never liked dolls or anything similar, I was kind of a nerd so no sports either which can be problematic with making male friends. I also wasn't attracted to any of my male classmates because they seen like boys to me, I always was attracted to 30ish years old men, so there was no sexual tension at all. I didn't feel inferior, I did feel threatened by their ability to bully me, and call out my lie when they get the chance to know me more deeply, so I always had nerdy mixed group of friends, girls and boys together, I never could get friendly with the masculine boys, although I wanted, and sometimes they tried, I was too scared and alienated. People assumed I'm asexual before they guessed me for being gay, I even didn't lie by saying I like girls! I just never talked sexually, I was perceived as a weird mysterious guy. And although all I said, I have trouble bonding with men, and I miss it deeply. But you know what? I see men in general having problems with deep friendships with others, no matter what their sexuality orientation is, they just damaged by their disability to create intimacy, because it counter with masculinity values, that's it. You don't need to blame your femininity gayness on that, it's not your problem, you are perfect.

    Here’s a flash: straight men do rarely truly connect with each other when it comes to friendships! I have a few straight men friends and although I do feel honored and special when they come to me to talk about their inner struggles, another part of myself can’t help but wonder whether they see me like a friend or like a therapist
