Haven't thought about this in a while, but I might return to this. Yeah it turns out I mistakenly assumed div(grad()) = 0, which means the conclusion from that is probably wrong. Thanks for the catch. I probably got it confused with the other 2nd derivative identities that are 0.

@@milihun7619 It looks like the waves are diffracting through the gaps between the obstacles and some end up bouncing back. The result is certainly a complicated wave function and makes me wonder how one can just characterize a material with one number, the index of refraction, as that seems like an oversimplification. He did use a pulse rather than a continuous wave, so maybe that is part of the reason why it ended up so complicated.

Thanks. I know it's not a real satisfactory answer and it raises more questions, particularly what the implications of these equations as well as if there is a better way to prove this. Maybe if I get some time I can look into investigating more into it. I'm more familiar with the physics of free moving charges than I am at looking at charges in materials so my approach may be weird according to conventional approaches to this type of problem.

Yeah the animations on Tilo makes him so lifelike! It was a long time ago, but I think I first heard about it in a UA-cam video on a top list of Indie games for graphics or something like that. Ah yes so it is not exactly the same as treason but in the same ballpark.

That's the issue. Anyone can claim something to be harassment, when it isn't. They may have no idea whether or not the woman wants that type of attention, and may just be jealous or opportunistic at a chance to virtue signal or otherwise has some chip in their shoulder and wants to sabotage other people's chance at finding love. All of that in the guise of protecting a woman. What if the woman actually wants that type of attention? By calling it harassment, it would mean telling her that she shouldn't be wanting that sort of attention, and thereby oppressing her and limiting her freedoms.

@@cryora solid point but stopping the man isn't harrasment, if the woman is able to stand up for herself she will say its fine and talk to the "harrased man" on the other hand if she can't stand up for herself then she will just get harrased with no one to help. Either way there's always a line to be drawn, and if another man is stopping your approach on a woman most of the time it's because you're crossing the line from say, over convidence to straight up cat calling/intimidating behavior

@@rileylund9235 In my experience, these situations are not very predictable, and people get emotionally charged and jump the gun. A lot of the time, a woman doesn't even realize there is conflict/tension between men, so she won't know to interject. Even if she is aware, she might not want to take sides or get involved. The men trying to "stand up" for women, may just be a "solution" looking for a problem, if you know what I mean. There's a saying that goes: When you're a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

It's one of my favorite moments in the original. Even with the old CGI, the sights and sounds on the Gondola ride was epic and magical. It was also a real bonding moment between Aeris and Cloud. I hope the remake does it justice :). I'm surprised a UA-camr got the part, but she does seem like a good fit.
