The Riejus have it all. Kickstart, carburetor, premix and fantastic KYB suspension plus a two year warranty. Booyaa.
Yep! They are one of the best bikes out there and most don't know anything about them!
Gonna foul the plug if thats a 2stroke you not letting it hit power band
If we were talking a 1970's MX bike I would agree but on this bike that isn't true. Any modern 2T enduro will not foul a plug if the jetting is correct for the bike.
Sand or silt require speed im learning.
I agree on the sand.
Finally got out again early this morning as i gave up on it cooling down. I think fall/winter is cancelled. It sucks as the days sre short, but the temperatures are still over 100 unless you go really early. Oh well i admire how often you get out.
Glad you got out there. The good riding weather is coming!
Good seeing someone using a dirt bike for what it’s meant for, not on public streets causing issues. 👍
Thank you!
Is that prison loop it has a spot like that
Yes it is.
Back breaker
Yup!
I want a turn!
I was lucky to get a turn!
Is this the same issue KTM had with the throttle cables being too short causing them to apply throttle at the worst times ? I went to MP CR cable and routed it like a Honda and never had another issue.
Basically, yes.
Here I am installing the new Motion Pro throttle cable. One note that I forgot to include in the video is that I couldn't find a stiffer return spring in time to get it back to my buddy. So, I added a 1/8" spacer at the top of the spring to increase the preload on it. Seems to have helped with the feel of it. Hoping both the cable and increased preload correct the issue.
Where you at bro?
@WildAzzRacing 0 seconds ago Based in Tucson, AZ.
Beautiful bike
It sure is!
12:35 Damn you weren’t kidding about that runaway…stuck throttle cable!? Did you figure it out?
Yeah, scared the crap out of me there for a second! It's looks like it could be too short of a throttle cable and/or weak return spring. Everything else checks out perfectly so it's the only two possibilities left. Got Motion Pro's top tier cable on the way and will be replacing the spring with a stiffer one.
Can a crf250r handle this?
Oh yeah. A lot of guys ride the Wilmot area on MX bikes and larger/heavier bikes. Your CRF250R should be fine if as long as it's in good working order.
Love my OG Gasgas.08 ec 300.Its got the best motor.
I agree. I love the way they make their power.
BTW, he paid $10,200 OTD.
I owned a ‘21 Rieju MR300. When the dealer had a new ‘23 Husky TE300 listed for $3500 off original price I bought it. My intent was to keep both bikes but it was too expensive to own two bikes. I sold the Rieju. After riding both and comparing the two….the MR 300 pro would be a difficult choice turn down. Adding a Smart Carb or Billetron this bike would be even better. Don’t be afraid of buying a Rieju, they are very good dirt bikes.
Yes they are great bikes! Hope to ride with you soon my friend!
I went out twice last week, but its way too hot again sadly this week so staying home practicing static balance sigh
We got a false fall over the weekend and back to scorching this whole week. I can't wait for the temps to finally cool off.
Those Rieju's are awesome, hell yeah on having a kicker. Rugged simplicity.
I agree!
im from Canadian prairies and i thought our land was flat holy shit thats flat
Yeah, some places are pretty flat. Of course, we got mountains to! Just look at the horizon in the vid and these are the small ones in AZ.
Editing is fun. Maybe we don't need to watch our time spin down the drain next time.
LOL! Ok
Nice bike great ride
Yes it is!
0:45 I missed the kickstarter hahaha
LOL! Yeah, just a little fun. I'm an e-start snob now! 😁
MR Ted you got a sexy sexy sexy bike sir
Yes, he did! It is a very sophisticated beast!
I give you three months and you will have one my brother
I wish I could afford one as I loved this bike.
@@WildAzzRacing I finally found a bike but ended up in Banner for almost 2 weeks so 2800 is a long time away 😂 but man it's a sweet bike
Did you say you're swapping out that rear tire? Those Michelins are really good in the rocky hard pack single track mountains. Also, why don't you run Mouse bibs? Nice bike! How much did he get it out the door?
Not swapping the tire out until it's worn out. It actually works really well but I know it won't last long. Mousse bibs are just such a pain IMO. We've had great luck with the Bridgestone UHD tubes here, when not running Tubliss, in the desert and are a lot easier to change a tire with. He got it out the door for $10,200. Normally they are base price of $10,600 plus taxes and everything else.
How much air pressure you run in your tires, you only need about 8 in the front and 6 in the back tire.
I normally run 10-11 up front and 8 rear. That's currently with a Bridgestone UHD up front and Tubliss rear. I experiment a lot with pressures and this is what I have found that these two tires, the Bridgestone X31 90/100-21 and IRC VE33S, prefer for my terrain and riding style.
Get in shape boy wonder...need a trainer? Start with push ups and 5 pull ups ..bicycle...all fights are decided by cardio...i dominated mx in Florida for 10 years
LOL! That was at the end of a long and very hot/humid ride.
Hey.Thanks for the info.I couldnt understand what you said about the Shiver Guru.A little more info please.I have a 08 EC300 with 48 Shiver fork.I might need a little help with fine tuning for my style of riding.
Sorry about that. Sometimes I just don't get the info out there very well. The guy I'm speaking of is Les Tinius of LT Racing. This guy is, IMO, the best out there for Marzocchi forks. www.lt-racing.com/index.html
Good for you carrying.
Been doing so for 36 years now.
Yes it takes energy to get back up from a fall for sure
Sure does. Nothing like a simple drop to sap your energy.
I notice you're reaching out for your clutch often but you have an auto clutch...when I ride my auto clutch bike one of the benifits is not having to worry or grab for the clutch. I also noticed your auto clutch does not engage properly, it's constantly slipping. I'm sure you've looked at different springs but the goal is to have it engage right away so it's not slipping and dragging. Thoughts? Anyway, hope you're feeling better and building up the ride stamina. I try to hit the gym on non ride days to keep things on the up and up, but yeah you need time for that too. Hope you're doing good man
Yeah, I override the auto clutch at times as my normal clutch skills are pretty ingrained in me. I do it without even thinking about it. As for the slipping, that's because most times when you hear it slipping it's because I'm carrying a higher gear than I should be. I do this for traction in our super dry and dusty trails. Believe it or not I actually have mmy auto clutch set so tight that my bike will actually stall when at idle, in gear, and without the clutch pulled in.
I went yesterday and it wasn't my best day so i get it
Yeah, some days just aren't as good as they could be.
thank you for the kind words. great message have a blessed day
Thank you for appreciating what I'm saying. I just don't understand why people are so nasty to each other any more? I refuse to be like that. Have an awesome day as well!
@@WildAzzRacing people today do not have our morals and values sadly but sometimes people surprise me. So it's nice to see someone who values good people nice cars/bikes and live music.
Love your vids
9:33 Grue up in az always rideing sand washes fr Miles n miles lol love it .
Love the sand like being on a magic carpet ,always if in doubt throttel out I always say about the sand faster the better, let it rip right.remember that knees tight to the tank elbos out throttel up,don't let it wobble.
I normally can ride sand fairly well. The problem is this particular sand in this riding area. It's different than the sand in other areas for some reason.
That's the one thing that worries me when I am actually able to get out there is I've rode in the sand one time in South Carolina it was a nightmare
Give it a chance you will learn to love it.
@@morganeast3403 I can't wait to get out there dealing with health issues ATM but should be out before to long
Yeah, sand at first takes a little learning but you'll get it. Some guys prefer sand over anything else.
I own a 2022 Rieju six- days, love the bike!!
I 100% agree! Greats bikes! I love my '11 EC250 racing!
the orange one is all ive ever had
lol i dont guess i waited long enough lol
what do you think of tubluss i dont know if i spelled it right but i have ran them in all my bikes since i found them but it was always in Tn and Wv mountian single track
I love Tubliss. Been running them over 10 years. Other than the trouble I've had with the bladders since covid they have been trouble free.
Where do they sell gas gas?
Well, now you gotta buy a Rieju as the GasGas name is owned by KTM as of 2020. Rieju is the continuation of the true Spanish GasGas bikes. Here in AZ the two dealerships are both in Phoeniz, MotoCenter motocenteraz.com/ and Screwie Lewie's www.screwielewies.com/ BTW, MotoCenter keeps a lot of Rieju parts actually in stock.
@@WildAzzRacing thank you
Morning.
Heavy duty tubes all the way for me now. Have been around too many problems with the tubeless. Love the idea but just can’t get over hassle with it.
I don't blame you. See, to me, Tubliss was much less of a hassle than tubes. I've only been having problems since covid with the bladders not being of good quality. I really hope Neutech get's their crap straightened out.
They actually have "left over 22's"? This is 2025 model year!
Yup! Most didn't want to pay a premium for a bike they don't really know. Worked out in his favor!
@@WildAzzRacing Do you know what he paid? I watched the entire vid but I didn't hear that part.
what do you run for your tires, UHD tubes, tubliss, mousse?
I normally run Tubliss front and rear but have been running a Bridgestone UHD tube up front for a while now. It's the only tube I will use.
New River area?
SE Tucson
This morning September 17 was perfect for riding! Hope you agree. Finally decent for a change not having to start at 5am
Yes, the weather is finally getting nice. Woohoo!
Is that in Laughlin Nevada?
No. This is in Tucson, AZ.
