    I really loved seeing this today. I have wanted to make acrylics look at least as good as oils. You are great at this. Thank you.

    Ich würde mir so wünschen, einen deutschen Untertitel zu haben, um zu verstehen, was du erklärst. Schade. Wie zum Beispiel mischt du die Farben.

    Thank you. I'm really in search for good acrylic landscape painters. I was told you are the best. I'm trying to make acrylics look at least as good as oils. I was just at a workshop with Kimball Geissler in Liberty Utah. Do you think acrylics can look like that with enough work? I live in Vernal Utah.

    Thank you for the magic! I saw in another video where you just sprayed leftover acrylics and just shut it. But are you using the sponge underneath and new paper every time? Also, thank you for showing both on site and in studio touch ups.

    Enjoyed this very much. Thank You. liked how you used, a photo/video of your Pallett, The picture, and your painting/video as you worked it. So many artists/painters miss showing this, so you really have no idea as to how they arrive at the painting they are doing... Makes a huge difference being able to see your process. have watched this over and over, this is one I have saved to be able to see the process again. Thank You.

    How do you keep your paint moist, especially when plein air painting?are you using a wax paper palette?

  • @dianestinebaugh6293
    @dianestinebaugh6293 4 роки тому

    Hi John, I appreciate the video. Could you tell about the pallet you are using? Does it work for plein air? Thanks

    • @russellricksbooks2579
      @russellricksbooks2579 4 роки тому

      That's my question too! I also heard you use a sponge pallet? Is that true! How do you keep every moist, especially painting plein air? Also, are you using a wax paper palette?

    • @johnwilkins3995
      @johnwilkins3995 2 роки тому

      It’s a staywet palette. Yes a wet sponge under special paper. Moister permeates the paper and comes with a lid so it’ll stay moist for days! They work. He uses it specifically to keep paint wet for wet on wet painting techniques.
