Great that someone is doing this, but I prefer the original graphics. This has a plasticy, soulless, rather generic look, as though the models come from an asset pack. I know they're not, and I'm not trying to insult the hard work of the people who made them, but in my opinion that's how they look. The original had a very distinct, soulful, gritty look that in my opinion has aged incredibly well even to this day.

This is looking great, I hope it is completed. Unfortunately though, if past fan-games are anything to go by, once you start releasing dev updates etc. the copyright holder slaps a cease and desist and bye bye fan-game. Unfortunately the best thing would have been to quietly complete the project, throw the full game out there and run too the hills. Once it's out, it can always be found.
