the new motor does work with RS3 Pro, even the new LiDAR with focus, but autotracking is not working with RS3 Pro.

hey, yeah I think so. I'm using the Focus Pro Grip with the Focus Pro motor for focus, then using RS3 pro with DJI tethered handle for the zoom.

just did a couple of girl group music video shoot. It is so expressive and handy!! It works great with both BMPCC4K with metabones (even with XL wth little bit soft fall off) and RED Weapon Helium. I can't wait till show you the video. One of the group had a song made by the Baby Metal team.

Internal filter has to be in unless you replace it with something like Rawlite filter. I did try taking out the stock filter then use it with external OLPF but I run into focus issue. These cuts are shot with normal internal OLPF with external Fotoga IR filter (probalby hot mirror) with Nisi VND.

Additional information:I tried more than few IR filter and found out that Formatt Tech's hot mirror is the best. Keeps the color the best.

Hi, in this video the focus speed was 4 to see the focus pull handles the zoomming in and out. I could set it up as 2 like the other video for this but 2 is still fast. So for ideal for that is "1" but that will be little slow for tracking focus zooming in and out. I wish DJI tunes this in better, giving more choices between "1" and "2".

By the way the focusing speed is a lot to do with the focus throw on the physical lens. This is Sigma ART Prime which is not bad, but nothing compared to the cinema lens. I believe cine lens with more throw is more controllable.

I would say not perfect but I know some situation it would help me especially when moving, while some distant shots I need to do manual focusing.

In also have RS2 with 3D focus and RavenEye working, too. Depending on the situation, that combination works better. It is too bad that I have to deal with the small window on the RS3 Pro with LiDAR upon manipulating the Active Tracking. So, some situation, RavenEye with even iPod handle better.

LiDAR's active tracking is little tricky especially when you have multiple cast moving around. Trying to figure out what setting is good for what kind of shoot. I'll lead you to the yesterday's testing clip.

The motor should not be set too close to the lense so that the angle is not enough so that it walk through the sopt. I try to adjust the rod futher so moto is set further from the lens.

I’m going to setup with the job today see how it works. With the focus chart, it seems keeping track but it’s a still object. I’m having a stand in today, so will tell you.

I tried today the activetrack on RS3 pro is broken.

I reset everything on the RS3 Pro and now working okay. couple of things, have to feed enough power to LiDAR. Also use LiDAR cable to connect from RS3 Pro to LiDAR.
