Good Tips. Riding around Michigan in Hot Weather.. I searched for Public boat ramps. Then I could go for a swim and take a bath. Some times Rivers will work too .
I have a thing for cemeteries. In Austin TX check out Texas State Cemetery. Ride the shortest State highway in Texas. Franklin Bar Barbecue is close to cemetery.

Interesting, we always use a tent and sleeping bag but it's so hard on my back...i hate it. maybe hammocks are the way to go for us too.
i also hang "wrong" and sleep better for it , whatever works
