Beef tallow for the skin goes into a very intense rendering process in order for it to be fully purified for the skin. Simply getting beef tallow from the grocery store and applying to your skin may cause the acne and clogged pores you mentioned. Beef tallow skincare is typically rendered completely and combined with non-comedogenic oils such as jojoba oil for a safe formula even for sensitive skin. For the average consumer, putting a fat on their skin may come as a concern because false information is being spread about the SPECIFIC tallow and formula to use for skin purposes ONLY-not cooking. May I ask where you are getting your information from?

I tried it thinking it would work for me because of the gentle exfoliation but still left the palm of my hands sand paper’ish. The only one that seems to work for me is Amlactin. It’s the lactic acid in it works so well. I only use morning and night and rarely have to apply anything else in between. Wish it worked for me.
